I prefer Charming over Snow. Season 3 Snow annoyed me, particularly in Ariel. I think it could be Hook that dies. A&E are on set and shows do have a habit of doing a cliffhanger death scene where characters receive a fatal wound in one episode and then die in the next.
I have had that vibe ever since Colin almost completely abandoned his twitter page in December. To say he isn’t tweeting because he is a busy daddy doesn’t fly very high, considering he isn’t the only parent in the cast, and yet somehow other cast members still find the time to respect their fans (i.e. Jennifer Morrison). Colin’s page has in my opinon, all the markings of a disconnect. That is one major reason why if it is Hook, I believe this was the actor’s choice.
I know about the pictures, spoilers, etc., in addition to the comment yo TV Guide that we’ll learn more about Hook and Pan next year. Aside from nieve assumptions, we can’t know how these things will manifest, so I can’t allow myself to let rose-colored glasses tint reality. I can take a hint, and much as I love Hook, Colin couldn’t seem less interested. It says 1000 words.

I feel like so many of us would be relieved if it were Ruby, not because I want her to go but because the actress clearly is on another show in a bigger role, so I am hoping there’s a loophole that it is her. Dogs were spotted on the day of the big battle showdown, and one picture showed Snow looking particularly distraught, but curiously, not really anyone else. Snow considered Ruby a sister. No one other than Granny would be as shocked, and they could have the dog “die” so they’ll say she was in wolf form, then they don’t even need the actress. They just do a closed casket, and that’s it, emotional stakes reached, we all hate Wicked with a passion.
Sort of appropriate too since Graham died to raise the stakes with Regina, and Ruby the other major character associated with wolves (and according to the graphic novel, his true love (?!) would die to raise the stakes with Wicked.
Yet I know it is wishful thinking and whoever the death is, I will always feel they should have done this instead if the death is really just a contrivance to raise the stakes. No matter what it is or how it happens, they probably could have figured out a different plot if they wanted to keep the character around, so it says they didn’t and we kind of have to wonder, why not? Maybe it is behind the scenes stuff but we’ll never know.
It’s easier to “lose” a character we already lost you know, so even though I loved Red/Ruby as a character too, that is why I would continue to hope there’s a loop-hole. Yea I wouldnt mind loosing Ruby, since she has really already gone from the show. But I feel bad for her wolfy side.. The Wolfs are always gutted and killed or made out to be the bad guy. But at the same time I see what you mean and like the reason- Its Ruby ’cause she is a Wolf.. poor Wolfs… I will be glad the day the two-colored-eyed Wolf of Storybrook comes back to bide them in the arss 🙂

Besides Bobby who else has kids? Lana, JMo, Gosh don’t have kids. I don’t think MJR or Emilie ave kids.
I think that having school aged kids is a little different than having a baby in a foreign country where both you and your spouse don’t have your family or close friends around. I think Colin and his wife had a major life change without normal support System (family and friends). Colin in season2 always talked about how he missed his family and friend. it is tough moving to a complete new place. I also think that he didn’t get much paternity leave when the baby was just born. He needs to spend time bonding with his son and helping out his probably very exhausted wife while juggling a time intensive and somewhat physically demanding job. I know I would hate filming in the cold and in his costume. I don’t begrudge him his time. I think Gosh will need some as well When their baby is born.

Wait, I’m sorry, but this? I strongly disagree.
Actors not tweeting doesn’t mean they don’t respect fans; they do have their lives, whether they are parents or not. Bobby never tweets anymore – but he certainly loves and respects his fans – and that’s just an example. Actors/celebrities don’t owe their fans anything other than to be polite ……….
As to an earlier post, I don’t think A/E would at all mislead Matt Mitovich – for one thing, they do have a good relationship with Matt, but for another, it’s really bad publicity to mislead the press. When they say a major character, I do believe it’s a major character/regular…..it’s not Ruby.
We won’t know for sure until after whether it truly was storyline related or A/E were protecting an actor who wanted to leave. The fact that this is so closed, that basically the character/actor won’t have any possiblity of returning makes me think the latter

I completely agree. I think the whole cast as well as A and E have gone out of their way to be nice to the fans. Colin even came out to meet fans and take photos last week after his shoot at the docks. What more can you ask of him? They don’t owe us any more of their time. Given that we’ve seen BTS photos of them working well into the night for shoots just goes to show how crazy their schedules are.

Exactly…..they really work extremely hard. I think that, unfortunately, as celebrities give more of themselves (let’s not forget it’s because they WANT to), fans try and take as much……it’s not fair, it’s not right.
I know this is going to be a very unpopular theory… Idk if anyone discussed it or not but…. What if the death is… Robin Hood?
