Ruby was my very first thought when watching the promo, but Granny makes sense too in a way.
Archie does too, because he was kidnapped… but who knows!
Something I thought of was that didn’t Granny say she had a heart attack at one point?? Hmm heart attack=heart taken?(which means Snow could crush it? )
But then the whole “Snow is temped once again to use dark magic” line from the press release makes me think of the candle. After all, as a friend pointed out, the showdown is in Gold’s shop. She could easily grab it if its there.[adrotate group="5"]Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

So here’s the cast from the press release. I have gone through and marked out the only ones that we haven’t seen filming since this episode (Not including the ‘Welcome to Storybrooke’ flashback). And we know it’s a major character so I’m not including the pretty much cameo cast. Needless to say, there isn’t a lot of options….
“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
Guest starring are Barbara Hershey as Cora, Michael Raymond-James as Neal Cassidy, Rose McGowan as younger Cora, Gerry Rousseau as father, Joaquim de Almeida as King Xavier, Eva Allan as Princess Eva, Zak Santiago as Prince Henry and Sonequa Martin-Green as Tamara.
And the promo said ‘One of their own’…. I have a really bad feeling about Ruby.
Meghan may not necessarily be in this ep, even though she’s in the cast list. She’s a main cast member, so should be in the cast list in the press release for every ep, whether she makes an appearance or not, right?
Considering the press release mentioning Rumple being close to death and Snow being tempted by dark magic again, I’m sticking by my theory that she’ll use the candle to save Rumple, and kill Cora. “One of their own will perish,” could easily refer to Rumple, (now “one of their own” because he’s family) losing his Dark One curse.

Media people that have already seen the episode have confirmed that she is in it.

Maybe Ruby’s in the back room with Gold, taking care of him, then? She’s certainly not present in the final battle, as the pictures show.
March 5, 2013 at 1:25 pm #177287sarah_tnParticipantI think I know who dies in Miller’s Daughter…..however……I don't think it's what we expect in a “death”, so to speak.
Everyone go back, and re-watch the panel from Paleyfest. They gave us a lot of hints, and among them, I think they might have let the cat out of the bag.I think the death isBelle, but not her, but rather her personality. I think that this “death” is why we will get Lacey. In the episode “Lacey”, I think that might be when we find out exactly what this character is like. My theory is that at first, Lacey seems to be a sweetheart, but only until her true colors come out in the episode entitled “Lacey”.
I could be wrong about this, but my instincts are talking to me. Let’s see if they’re right!March 5, 2013 at 2:13 pm #177301SlurpeezParticipant@Demileto wrote:

Well, since she is a werewolf, Ruby could be babysitting Henry with ferocity.

I was listening to Barbara Barnett’s podcast just before and she mentioned that everyone in the main cast except Red has a role to play in this ep:
Barbara: Everyone is in this. Everyone has a part to play. Everyone has an important part to play, in the main cast. Except maybe for Red.
Other podcaster: I was just gonna say, even Ruby?
Barbara: No, not Ruby so much.Around the 48min mark: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/barbara-barnett/2013/03/05/once-upon-a-time-and-downton-abbey
March 5, 2013 at 3:47 pm #177324RumplesGirlKeymasterDang it! I keep worrying over Ruby/Meghan. She just seems to be missing. We saw her in Tiny, correct? When she visited Belle, but nothing since.

That’s how I’m interpreting it, yes. Whoever dies is gonna be a main focus of the ep at some point, so her saying that Ruby doesn’t really have a part to play seems to suggest that she won’t be suddenly, tragically killed off.
