I think I know who dies in Miller’s Daughter…..however……I don't think it's what we expect in a “death”, so to speak.
Everyone go back, and re-watch the panel from Paleyfest. They gave us a lot of hints, and among them, I think they might have let the cat out of the bag.I think the death isBelle, but not her, but rather her personality. I think that this “death” is why we will get Lacey. In the episode “Lacey”, I think that might be when we find out exactly what this character is like. My theory is that at first, Lacey seems to be a sweetheart, but only until her true colors come out in the episode entitled “Lacey”.
I could be wrong about this, but my instincts are talking to me. Let’s see if they’re right!I posted something similar in the spoilers section for Lacey. https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=3084#p43025[/quote]
Oh, ok. I’m not the only one out there with that train of thought then. Who knows, we may be on to something!!! 😉

Episode previews have hinted in her hidden heart being revelant to the story and the only one we know so far who’s aware of the heart’s “condition” is Hook, who’s not on the episode, leading me to conclude that someone else, probably Rumple, will clue them in on it. Ruby, being an exceptional tracker due to her wolf side, is then ideal personal for the task of finding Cora’s greatest weakness.

We still have a lot of unanswered questions about her, so maybe the writers plan on banishing her instead of killing her off incase Barbara wants to return again.
March 6, 2013 at 3:43 pm #177582thathelesParticipantwell I don’t think so. We know now that the candle is back and you have to say the right persons name over their heart when lighting it.
March 6, 2013 at 11:16 pm #177709crackedmirrorParticipantIf they kill off Ruby/Red, then I will be quite mad.
I could just about ope with Granny or Grumpy. So long as its not Red. I just have a really bad feeling about this……
Maybe “perish” doesnt mean die though? Heres a thought: Cora becomes the new dark one, though rumple is saved by Snow, using the candle. Because magic works differently in SB, Snow becomes the new dark one?
Cant see it happening, but you never know.
March 6, 2013 at 11:18 pm #177710DemiletoParticipantI don’t think Red is dying. I think, if present on the episode, she’ll be tracking Cora’s heart with her super-smell.
March 6, 2013 at 11:44 pm #177718RumplesGirlKeymasterI don’t think Ruby is going to die. I just hope they mention her if we don’t get to see her cause I’m starting to get nervous that she won’t be around for the rest of the season.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 7, 2013 at 12:16 am #177734ruthless102ParticipantI think that Cora is going to die and here are my reasons….
Barbara Hershey is a ‘guest star’. That means she is not under contract so she can be written off more easily than other cast members.
We’ve heard that we’re going to see Regina go back to being her old evil self. I don’t think she could do that with her mother around. Ever since Cora has returned, Regina has been in her shadow and her evilness has taken a back seat. I think the only way we’ll see that really evil Regina is without her mother. And if Cora dies, Regina’s going to be really mad.
The whole premise is good vs. evil. Ever since Cora’s arrival, it’s become Cora vs Rumple….evil vs. evil. I don’t think the show can expand if we continually see bad guys trying to one up each other and good guys getting a beating. We viewers need to see something to give us hope, and give us something to cheer about. Poor Snow keeps being good and getting pounded. It’s time for her to conquer evil.
I say, good-bye Cora.

I think this is simpler than most people are thinking here; Once’s mysteries aren’t that hard to figure out, as shown by the “Bae is Henry’s father”, “Cora is the Queen of Hearts” and “Cora killed Snow’s mother” theories. “Queen is Dead” and the promo for “Miller’s Daughter” pretty much spelled out the outcome of the next episode for me: Cora stabs Rumple with the dagger and becomes the Dark One, but Snow uses the candle on Cora’s heart, saving Rumple and killing Cora.
Bam! This

Indeed! With Cora gone there’ll be no one to hold Regina back, and she’ll be free to lose it, like they’ve suggested she will. I’ll really be surprised if it’s anyone other than Cora who dies in this ep.
