ParticipantWho do you think Christopher Gorham will be portraying? According to Entertainment Weekly, his character is someone “important in the life of Emma Swan.”

What are your theories?

KeymasterI think he will play Emma’s best friend, “Henry.” I think he is another product of the Curse, it created him to give Emma a more realistic life. In her now false memories, Emma thinks this guy was her foster brother and she named her son after him.

ParticipantSo he is not a real person at all? Or is he someone who’s memories were fogged by Regina’s curse out in the real world, obviously her magic could make fake paper trails. But why him if he is real?

I’m not sure if Emma named her son Henry or not. We only heard cursed Emma call her son ‘kid’ which is the nickname she used before she started calling him by his real name in S1. For all we know, he now goes by Justin Swan.

ParticipantCould he be her real brother? I mean, if Regina’s first curse is reversed, then Snow and Charming had a baby who was not transported to our world… that can be this new guy.
I know it challenges reasoning, since then Emma would have never existed, but… an alternative past for those lost 29 years should have been created in some way. Plus, ‘Henry’s family increasing 2 more members’…that would make this guy his uncle.
Crazyness, I know…

Wow, that’s mind-boggling! I was thinking that Chris Gorham’s character might be Emma’s foster brother from her childhood, whom she runs into again. Or perhaps Chris is playing the old boyfriend of Emma Swan. Or maybe he is the author of Henry’s book who then gives the book back to Emma!

KeymasterI am going to expand on my crack theory.
I think “Henry” is someone that only came into existence when Emma crossed the line and her and Henry’s memories were modified. Emma knows him as her “brother” in foster care and now her best friend. They are incredibly close but I think “Henry” also knows the real truth. He’s another AUGUST.

ParticipantI call Christopher to be Emma’s new boyfriend…that’s my theory!
