RumplesGirl Moderator I am going to expand on my crack theory. I think “Henry” is someone that only came into existence when Emma crossed the line and her and Henry’s memories were modified. Emma knows him as her “brother” in foster care and now her best friend. They are incredibly close but I think “Henry” also knows the real truth. He’s another AUGUST.

That is some serious crack! I’ve never heard of a person just popping out of thin air before! I’m not going to lie; I don’t like the sounds of that. But I do love the idea of Chris Gorham’s character actually being Emma Swan’s real foster brother and therefore like another version of August, only nobler.

Ah but it’s magic, darling! 😉

The curse had a messenger the first time too: August. Except he was a failure fail fail who should be fed to a wood chipper. *ahem*

    This is a DO OVER.

I call Christopher to be Emma’s new boyfriend…that’s my theory!

I agree, WR.  If she got happy memories, then I can see her having a boyfriend.  Just to complicate matters with Hook & Neal.

I dunno what to think about this guy any more. All I know is my crack theory of him being an older Henry is a bust.

But he was allegedly being called Henry by the crew. If so, and if Henry has his same name, then there would have to be a connection there. It’s very curious that we didn’t see Emma actually call him by his name at breakfast. Part of me thinks it’s gotta be because he has a different name now, but part of me thinks that if Regina had any control over their new memories, she’d make sure he kept the name Henry.

Emma still had the same, crappy foster care upbringing, but that doesn’t necessarily rule out her having had a nice foster brother at some point, or maybe he was even just another kid in the system who she got to know, but they were never actually part of the same family. That could actually be the basis for them having a romantic relationship in present day.

If they are a couple, I’d guess that the scene we’ve seen pics of is after she’s broken up with him, and the forehead kiss is a goodbye, no hard feelings, sorry it didn’t work out but I hope we can always be friends kinda kiss.

Not sure how I feel about the idea of him being a product of the Curse, because creating a fake paper trail is one thing, but creating a whole other person…I dunno.

I don’t mind if he is someone from Emma’s childhood but not someone from the mid-eleven years she now thinks she spent with her kid.  She only thinks it but anyone who met her would not know!  So moving her city makes sense, as NYC is so big. It makes sense she would not run into people there but Boston?  Harder to imagine.

So someone in the last year also works–but perhaps he is an old boyfriend ahe calls to varify that she did not have a kid five years ago when she knew him to back up what Hook says when she goes to question him or he stalks her.  He meets her and confirms that, and she is now starting to lose it.

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
