I guess one question is whether he is a stranger to her or she knows him.

The forehead kiss suggests that he’s someone Emma is familiar with. Guess that doesn’t necessarily eliminate the possibility that he has a secret identity she doesn’t know about (maybe his name is Clark :-P).

Christopher Lloyd also played the WofOz and he would come and go from Oz to our world to help bring back Dorothy’s memories in Dorothy and the Witches of Oz.

And they’ve already used one Back To The Future shoutout for Emma’s NYC storyline.

    *snort*

But she doesn’t react negatively from the kiss. I still think she knows him but doesn’t know everything about him.

Just noticed how much Gorham’s smile reminds me of James Franco’s.  Franco did play the WofOz in Oz:  The Great and Powerful.

I’m officially endorsing the theory that Chris Gorhams’ character is the Wizard of Oz!

What was the BTF shoutout again? Missed it.

I posted this theory in the “Who’s Filming Now Thread Part 3” but I’m re-posting here, since it’s highly relevant.

I’m also adding an interesting mash-up of stories/fairytales. I think that Chris’ character could be the Wizard of Oz and connected to Rapunzel. Perhaps Rapuzel is a prisoner in Oz, after the WWW kidnapped her. Maybe Rapunzel is locked in a tower in the Emerald City. And the Wizard of Oz (aka Chris Gorham) somehow needs EMMA to help Regina combat the growing power of the WWW.

ETA: I have an add-on theory to go with the idea that Chris Gorham’s character is the WoZ. Hook said that Emma’s family is in danger. Perhaps Snow and Charming sent the WoZ to help Emma save them, and instructed her to give Emma a kiss on the forehead from them. We’ve only ever seen Charming and Snow kiss Emma on the forehead before.

So Chris Gorham has filmed in 3×12, when we discover he’s important in the life of Emma. He’s also been spotted on set in 3×16, the same episode in which the Charmings supposedly visit an old farmhouse that might belong to Dorothy Gale’s family and in which the WWW appears in SB. Chris did voice work for 3×16.

There was also a spoiler from a TV Guide interview with Adam & Eddy that Chris’ character will play an integral role in the lives of two characters:

Christopher Gorham appears in that episode [New York Serenade]. What’s his connection to Emma?

Horowitz: Chris is an old friend. We worked with him onPopular a million years ago. We love him and we’re so excited that he agreed to come aboard.
Kitsis: We called him and said, “You need to do this for us.” He was great.
    Horowitz: We love his character.
Kitsis: He’s an integral part of two characters’ lives.

I’m thinking Chris’ character will play an integral role in the lives of Emma and Neal.

    Alright. Here are my cookies.

30 cookies says he is the son of Dorothy Gale and that his name is Henry.

An additional 50 cookies says he is connected to Emma and Neal.
