I honestly don’t think this is going to be a long-term thing. Henry is at that age when he is going to start having an interest in girls (or they could make him gay but they don’t seem to be going that route). I’m expecting lots of awkward Henry. Or this girl is going to manipulate and use Henry whilst Henry is fawning all over her.

Whether they chose that dress for her intentionally or not, the fact that Nealfire’s son is socialising with a girl dressed similarly to Wendy has left me full of a lot of conflicting feelings and expletives.
I hope *twitch* that nothing really comes from the tween flirtation. I think it wouldn’t grate on people’s nerves so much if Henry had actually been shown interacting with kids his own age before, rather than the first kid that pops up all of a sudden happens to be his age and happens to be a girl. And also she happens to have been raised by a single parent, in close proximity to royalty, no less. I can deal with it if she’s only around briefly before she’s shuffled off back to Camelot, and she’s only there long enough to give Henry a little coming of age, “Hey, so girls are a thing!” moment, because a kid his age would be having that moment. Just…please Show, don’t turn it into a big romance arc for the kid.

If it makes you feel any better, they most likely won’t have time for such storylines anyway. They are way too busy with Dark Emma en Merida and Camelot and grown up ships, for Henry to actually have something extensive going on. It’ll be a lovely little ‘aww look Henry’s growing up’ moment I think.
