I think he is one of the Grimm Brothers. I don’t think he’s future Henry since the character is meant to be a love interest for Emma and this is a family show, so no incest.

But it would be interesting, since the Grimm Brothers are real world people, if the writers mixed it up and maybe made him a Grimm Brother and the Little Boy who found Emma.

I think we can rule out future-Henry because he probably will be a love interest for Emma, and also, the actor who plays the stranger has bright blue eyes, and Henry has green eyes. The thing that makes the most sense to me is that he could be the boy who found Emma. I’m only thinking this because she was reading her file when he showed up. If he is the person who wrote the book, then he doesn’t have to necessarily be a Grimm brother. He could be someone else entirely, maybe not even from the fairy-tale universe.

But he knew about Storybrooke. which before he showed up on his motorcycle, I thought Storybrooke was a mythical place and couldn’t be real because Henry brought Emma there, she wouldn’t have known to go there on her own.

He is probably NOT a story writer like the brothers Grimm. Didn’t you guys notice that he uses a 100 year old typewriter in a giant box. Storybrooke is set in modern times…. he would use a laptop to type up a story not a giant clunky typewriter. He’s using the writer thins as his alias… he is someone else. Someone who is aware of the curse.

The main reason I ruled out future-Henry is because I definitely think he’s the boy who found Emma. If that boy was only seven years old, it’s already too late for that to be Henry.

Ok, I have a new theory about the strangers identity. It occurred to me yesterday if he was a Grimm Brother, he would be very old in present day. So what if it was related to the Grimm Brothers, like maybe he’s their great, great, great (can add how many greats depending on far back the Grimm Brothers go) grandson, and is familiar with the curse because he is descended from the Grimm Brothers.

I just added Hans Christian Andersen to the poll.

I have no idea who the Stranger is. I think we know his name now. I just think he is some guy at this point because all of the theories aren’t quite working for me somehow.
