I realize this is not on a lot of peoples minds right now. But about Emma and who she ‘is’ or is supposed to represent. I think she is the Pheonix. Enyone feel the same way ? or different ?

Come birdhunting with me, choose what ever episode you’d like and find some clues to her being a firery golden Pheonix- a savior bird- resurrected out of the flames. 😀

I’ll start with two things, with her as a baby-
-She was born amidst the chaos of the curse/the end ‘or so they thougt’ of FTL.
-When you look at the drawing from Henrys book. Of her charming father holding baby Emma and about to put her in the magic wardrobe. In this picture she looks extactly like an egg in a nest- and later the grown up Emma takes this drawing in throws it in the fireplace. 😀 that one I find particually funny.

I don’t think it’s coincidence that they chose to have Emma in jail (and Henry born) in a place called Phoenix, of all things. It’s the place she reached her lowest low, completely burned down to the ground, and then the spark of hope that would lead her to her destiny 10 years later was brought to life there.

I agree – perfect symbolism of the Phoenix as described by medchen and Phee. Could Emma’s temporary exile from Storybrooke and her eventual return (stronger than ever from her experiences in the Enchanted Forest) mark another cycle of death and rebirth?

The yellow bug she drives is a Golden bird.
Yellow Bug-Golden Bird 😀 Fire Bird

When she first drives into town with Henry there’s a shortcut in some electric wire and firery sparks fly above there heads.

Often when Regina comes into the policestation and stands opposite Emma, The Fire escape/exit door is right behind her.
