Aurora said she could not make contact with anyone because she ran up against someone who she is afraid of… her enemy…. Who was that person… one of the Pan’s shadows? Maleficent? It was glossed over quickly… do you think we will find out in the future?
What are your theories??

it could be maleficent because shes trapped in a state where it looks like shes between death like how she was that skeleton after emma slayed her… maybe her soul is in the inbetween world like the ones that are under the sleeping curse go to? but because so much was going on they didnt fully explain itOctober 1, 2013 at 6:46 pm #213378TheWatcherParticipant
Hmmm.. could it be Maleficent? She is dead…but maybe her soul? Pan is smart so maybe he made some type if magical barrier preparations? I have to go back and watch that scene…

Mal’s my guess as well. She’s wasn’t under a sleeping curse but she is between life and death."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 1, 2013 at 7:37 pm #213394ClessidorParticipant
1. Maleficent – She might be trapped between life and death
2. The Wraith or someone else Aurora and Mulan met while they freed Philip’s soul.
3. The Sandman – He is the brother of death, bringer of sleep and dreams and in E.T.A Hoffman’s version a very horrifying character.
4. Someone connected with the origin of the sleeping curse. Maybe Odin.
These are the first four things which came into my mind and it would be very interesting if that person is someone we haven’t met yet. But if I would have to choose I would guess it’s Maleficent.
Well, I’m pretty sure we will find out more about it in the future, but I’m not sure if the writers want to tell us about it in this season.

No, I think you misunderstood her…she said, “It’s worse than I feared” referring to the fact that she couldn’t contact anyone.October 1, 2013 at 8:01 pm #213401RumplesGirlKeymaster

I think Angie is right."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 1, 2013 at 8:25 pm #213408JosephineParticipant
Okay, I had no idea what you all were talking about with her encountering someone because I remembered nothing of it in the show. Then I saw Angie’s post so I decided to replay my copy with the caption on and this is exactly what she says:
Aurora: It’s worse than I feared. I couldn’t make contact. I wish I could be more help. I-I fear no one can.
So she doesn’t make contact with anyone.

Darn I was getting excited by those possibilities, and I liked Clessidor’s 4 suggestions.
Oh well maybe there’ll be some other storyline leading to dreamwalking /souls and all that open end from how Phillip got rescued.
