Since Emma restored memory by ‘true loves’ kiss but no one returned (even Emma wondered why), there has to be a part 2 next season. Since Rumple designed the curse to find Baelfire, the end of the curse could be rooted in Bae himself as a safeguard: Baelfire’s true loves kiss, etc. I think that’s what their getting at. Since it is Rumple who designed it, I’m really not surprised if there ends up being several levels of the curse to break: layered!

So what next then? When Rumpel touches Bae then they will return? Rumpel thought August was Bae for a second and he didn’t seem to expect to return to fairytale land at that moment.

I think you just answered your own question. What is next? No one knows. And if the key to sending everyone back to Fairytale land is through Bae, I highly doubt the writers would reveal that in the first season. 😉

I agree. (I think I said something like this in another post.)

I agree. I also said in another post that I thought Rumple would use Emma to track Bae down since that what she used to do for a living. Also suggested that when Gold poured the portion in the well he made a comment about water touching/going everywhere. I think the portion will somehow get to Bae which then will either trigger him coming to SB or put a ‘marker’ on him to make him easier to locate. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the long term story line for the series is about looking for Bae with Emma having to interface with other people who are from the other realms. .
