If Emma is the product of love, would the apple still work? Or maybe it may have a different affect on her.

You mean, does Emma have some sort of immunity because she is the product of True Love that the poisoned apple turn over wouldn’t work? I think it still would, regardless if she was or not. I do believe what Regina said to Emma, that she wasn’t sure how it would affect Henry.

I think it would have worked on her.

Good question. I’d like to think that it wouldn’t have worked on her, but I can’t be too sure. I hope whatever magic she has will protect her from things like that.

True love is something directed outward, that one person shows for another. There are good qualities that are directed inward — self-esteem, integrity, etc — but I think love has such power in fairy tales because it can only serve others, not oneself.

    Good point!

I have a suspicion that it would have a different affect on her like it may turn her into something different. I think that Emma is just a rare human being and would reject any evil spell that may come across from her. Yet, can’t be sure.

I think the apple would have the same effect on anyone that ate it.

Also Emma always is reluctant to take something from someone right away, especially Ragina. You see her questioning things in her eyes (facial expression) so unless she senses trust she won’t take it, or takes it to examine closely for clues. Sadly there are no clues in an apple turnover.
