WOO HOO!!! Good to hear the news. Neal was a great character and I’m looking forward to his dramatic (and more than likely angry) reunion with Rumpel.

^I highly doubt Belle’s memory loss will be permament. Early on the season, Adam and Eddie said that Belle and Rumpel would have to fall in love all over again. At first, I thought they were referring to the fact that it had been 28 years since they had saw each other. But after the events of last week’s episode, their comments make a lot more sense. I think all Rumpel has to do is just find a way to make her fall in love with her again. Simple.
OMG! THANK YOU! That makes me feel a lot better. 😀

OK, now that it’s almost been nearly confirmed that Neal is in fact Baelfire, what do you think his relationship with Belle will be like? Will she try to mend Bae and Rumpel’s broken relationship? Will Nealfire be resentful towards her? Will he manage to turn Belle against Rumpel? Or will Belle be the mediating factor between the two sides?
I think the focus of Baelfire’s rage will be Rumpel. I don’t really see him subjecting an innocent to his anger. In fact, he’ll probably feel a sense of kinship with Belle due to both their failed attempts to help Rumpel change his ways. So, I don’t think Baelfire will be angry or resentful towards Belle. Concerned? Yes. But angry? I don’t think so.
I agree – they’re both kind and likeable characters so they’ll surely get along famously well!
Nice to see other people like Belle as much as me although for slightly different reasons – I love books just as much as her so it’s nice to have a geeky princess for once!
A/N I can’t walk in heels over about 1″ though 😳 – I’m surprised she doesn’t fall over more – I would if I were in her shoes! 😆I love all sides of Belle. I love her softness, her compassionate nature and her ability to see the best in everyone. But I also appreciate her bravery, her boldness and her ability to accomplish just about anything in a skirt and high heels. 😀
a chipped cupParticipantThis was such a good episode. I’m still speechless. For starters, the cliffhanger was MIND-BLOWING. Belle was shot and lost her memory, Hook was hit by a car, an outsider entered Storybrooke, and Rumpel is on a vengeful rampage. WHOA.
My favorite moments came primarily from Belle. I’ve always liked Belle, but this episode cemented my love for her character. We were always told that Belle was smart and brave, but we never got to see it. And boy did we get it bucket loads! She kicked Hook’s ass in the library, she used her books to help her locate Hook’s ship, she actually used MAGIC to find the ship, she rescued Dr. Hopper and stood up to Hook all in one episode. I loved it.
Oh, and how could I forget? She also saved Prince Philip from Maleficient’s curse. Go Belle!
Robert Carlyle also stole the show. His performance was great and his scenes with Hook were amazing. I loved seeing him wail on Hook with his cane again. That just never gets old. Colin also did a great job. And so did Emilie. Everyone was great in this episode.
a chipped cupParticipantOMG! These clips are AMAZING! Good to see Belle acting on her instincts and her desire for adventure. I really like her chemistry with Mulan and I’m glad it’ll be Belle in the end who slays the beast.
Thank you so much for posting. 😀

Either way, someone’s going over that line. The writers didn’t set up that plot device for nothing. 😉
But that’s what has me worried. I hate when writers make characters lose their memories. It’s such a cheap plot device to defuse tension and replace it with silly drama. However, I’m going to reserve judgement until I see the actual episode. One of the characters losing their memory might add to the story, and that’s what’s most important.

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PIC!
You’re looking mighty feirce in this pic, Belle! I love her costume too. 😀
I’m glad Belle got to see the world before Regina captured her. It would have been tragic if her entire life was filled with nothing but dungeons and cellars. At least she had this one event where she was able to be brave and free to hold onto while being held prisoner in Regina’s castle.
Great pics! Thanks for posting.
a chipped cupParticipantNo, I wouldn’t stop watching the show if my ship didn’t sail. But then again, most of my favorite couples are already established canon on the show, so I don’t have much to worry about in that arena.
a chipped cupParticipantI’m a sucker for anything Rumpel, so my favorite episode is selfishly “The Crocodile.” I loved learning more about Rumpel’s backstory and his life before he became the Dark One. And even though he acted like a complete monster in some of his flashbacks, I was absolutely in love with his scenes with Belle in Storybrooke.
My second and third favorite episodes are probably “Tallahassee” and “Into the Deep.” I loved seeing Emma as a young woman in love, and I fell for Neal’s character immediately. I was actually surprised by how good that episode was. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, but Emma and Neal’s scenes were just too sweet to ignore.
“Into the Deep” did an amazing job at balancing all its main characters equally. That’s a pretty difficult thing to do when you have a cast of thousand people. 😆 And seeing the heroes team up with the villains was pretty cool too (even tough it didn’t last very long).
a chipped cupParticipant^You know, I never really considered that as a possibility. However, I have a feeling that he will. Only those who fell under the influence of the curse had their memories wiped. Well, all except Jefferson and Regina.
