angiebelleParticipant
I love catching the Disney references. I’m a huge Disney fan and know many of the films very well.
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantI always assumed he was in a coma in the hospital to begin with because he had been so terribly wounded just before the curse hit. I figured that the way Storybrooke was when we were introduced to it was the way it had always been.
angiebelleParticipantI think that there is finally a spark of “what if this is true?” in the back of her mind, but that she is in a huge state of denial. If it’s true then she has a lot of responsibility on her shoulders that she just doesn’t want. Her rational brain is fighting with everything it’s got for this not to be real….the idea that she is the savior is just too much.
angiebelleParticipantIt does bother me a bit that Gepetto made a really foolish decision in an attempt to save his son, but good characters making bad decisions seems to be a repeated theme throughout the show. It’s their way of showing us that no one is all good or all bad. Gepetto really didn’t think….he was trying to save Pinocchio, but he sent him out alone with a baby into a completely unknown world with no parental figure to guide him! Pinocchio actually would have been safer staying with his father…turning back into wood could be undone when the savior broke the curse- it wasn’t a true death sentence. August must have had as terrible a childhood as Emma, only with his memories of Fairytale land intact.
angiebelleParticipantWow….so I was spot on about August being Pinocchio, but I wasn’t completely right about his situation. I can’t believe Gepetto forced the Blue Fairy into a situation in which she had to lie! That caught me off guard. Someone should have pointed out to him that it would be better for Pinocchio to be kept close rather than sent off into a strange world alone with a baby! Poor August!
angiebelleParticipantGreat sneak peaks! Go Mary Margaret! In my day dreams about meeting the characters, I have imagined saying something very similar to Regina myself- telling her that taking away the happiness of others won’t bring back hers.
angiebelleParticipantI don’t want *anybody* to die! So the fact that they said it would be a shock worries me because that indicates it would be one of the characters I figured were safe- Emma, Regina, Rumple, Henry, Snow, or Charming….goodness I hope it’s not any of them! The show wouldn’t be the same without them.
I’m wondering where on earth the show will go for the next season.
angiebelleParticipantI was having a debate with a friend over this. She was very insistent that he was just talking to Henry on the phone, but I don’t think it sounded as if he was talking to a kid.
angiebelleParticipantIt’s like the line from Wicked:
The most celebrated/ Are the rehabilitatedWe want to see the villains redeem themselves. Or at least I do. They both have goodness that they’ve buried deep inside. I’m rooting for them to find it some day.
I felt so bad for Rumple when August revealed he wasn’t Bae. That must have split his heart in two. For centuries he waited for his son, and when he thought he finally found him, his joy was torn from him.
I think the reason Rumple became so evil is because the magic he inherited was dark magic. It twisted his soul, and only his love for Bae kept that little spark of his humanity. Otherwise, it was out of his control.
angiebelleParticipantI don’t think the blue fairy remembers…I think she would have done something by now if she did. But I could be wrong- it’s not implausible.
I think she believes herself to be entirely good, whether or not she truly is.
