I think it’s not so much that magic has a literal price as it is that it often has unexpected consequences if you aren’t extremely careful. It’s like “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.” You have to watch your wording and think of all the aspects of what would be affected. For example, if you wished for the ability to pause time, you might find yourself aging faster than everyone else! I’ve read so many something goes wrong with a wish stories. There’s one I read about this kid who wished for all the money in the world, and he got it…quite literally- so that no one else in the world had any money!
As for me- I’d be satisfied with a fix it, find it, clean it spell!
Or a “room of requirement” from Harry Potter- that would sure come in handy!
And of course, teleportation!

angiebelleParticipantNo idea! In the play, Wendy asks why there are no girls, and Peter says “Girls are much too smart to fall from *their* carriages!” (The lost boys are the babies who fall out of their carriages when the nurse is looking the other way.)
angiebelleParticipantThanks! Yeah, I made them out of clay and paint from a craft store- quite proud of them! My mom thinks I should make more and sell them.
angiebelleParticipantThe fashions were clearly turn of the century though. Peter Pan was written around 1900.
angiebelleParticipantI made my own chipped cup earrings. 🙂
angiebelleParticipantI don’t see it that way…I think deep down, Rumple knows it’s Belle he really wants and not Lacey. He seems to be enjoying Lacey and amused by her, but I don’t see the deep love for her that he has for Belle. He knows what he has for Lacey isn’t real, and he is conflicted between enjoying the illusion and wanting the real thing. He has not given himself over entirely to his dark side- otherwise he wouldn’t have told Lacey about how magic pushes away those he cares about most. He knows he is hurting his chances with Bae. You could see it in his eyes when Bae caught him beating on Dr. Whale.

I don’t like watching characters get tortured like that.
angiebelleParticipantI want to see Bae’s disappearance as a huge wake up call for Rumple. I’m hoping that he doesn’t react in hotheaded anger but that he starts to open up to the others and fight against the darkness that Lacey is pulling him back towards. I’m worried it might have the opposite effect though- that he will feel as if he has nothing left to live for and therefore no point in bettering himself. But I want to see him fight to get the real Belle back.
I want them all to have a little more faith that Bae survived.
Mostly, I want the season to end on a note similar to last year in which we have a satisfying conclusion with everything being set up for a new series of adventures next year.
I have a feeling we will not have all our characters in the same place by the end though.

I’m not sure I care for this sinister take on Neverland, but I’m curious about where they are going with it. I am very curious if we will eventually meet the actual Peter Pan character. The shadow reminds me a bit of what happens in the Peter and The Starcatchers series. There is an evil shadow stealing character called Lord Ombra.
It bugs me that the timeline doesn’t add up….if Bae ended up in turn of the century London, there is at least a century or two unaccounted for! Are they actually in our world there or a fictional storybook version of London as has been suggested?
I loved Bae’s interaction with the Darling family. They all looked just as you’d imagine they would. I can’t wait to see Bae’s relationship with Hook. Does Hook end up realizing Bae is Rumple’s son? Does Bae join the crew? Do Hook and Bae actually have a friendship?
Tamara and Greg are just awful! I’m so glad Neal finally knows the truth. And -oh- the scenes with Emma and Neal! They still love each other! They said the words! It was so heartbreaking when Neal let go. But Emma, dear, have a little more faith that he might have survived!
The teardrop potion was quite clever- and I was right about how Emma and Regina would be connected through physical feelings like Samantha was to Serena in an episode of Bewitched- although that was done for comic effect.
Charming calls Regina family…yet just a little earlier he was planning to leave her behind? And how was Blue Fairy able to get the leather cuff off so easily?
Gold and Lacey…wow, steamy! I actually enjoyed those moments even though I can’t wait to get the real Belle back. Lacey is quite the vixen. Adam and Eddie have said that Gold was “intoxicated with newly discovered love for Lacey,” but that’s not really what I saw. I saw him indulging her whims and being amused by her, but I did not see him loving her deeply the way he does Belle. He is clearly conflicted and not giving in to his darkness completely- you can tell by what he says to Belle about magic pushing people away. He knows what he is risking. I only wish there weren’t so much going on this season that things I want to see more of keep getting glazed over. The Lacey storyline could have been so much more interesting if it had been given more time. I am relieved that Lacey isn’t coming across as evil as Adam and Eddie were implying. She didn’t flat out tell him to kill Henry- she doesn’t know the full story…doesn’t realize what she is actually suggesting when she says to get rid of the person who may be his undoing.
How is Gold going to react when he learns about Bae being lost again? Devastated and broken or angry?
Are they really going to destroy Storybrooke?!
Are they going to leave any loose threads or will we get a fairly satisfying ending as we did last year?
Some people are questioning whether or not Kurt is actually dead. I vote yes- that seemed pretty straightforward to me. Why would Regina go to all the trouble to plant a fake body?
I still think Belle will remember before the season ends…but how and when? And I hope they do it in a way that feels right and not too rushed…but there is so much going on!
I can’t believe there is only one episode left for the season! What are we going to do all summer?!
