Yes! I was just thinking how fun it would be to have a fan meet up! I wonder how many of us are clustered in a close enough vacinity to get together. I would totally host a CA Bay area one if there was enough interest…maybe even the LA area too- I have family in LA and a free place to stay. 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantThanks!
Oh, cool site! I’ve seen other similar blogs- I’ve seen pics of women who’ve bought the actual match for Belle’s dress. I think I even saw someone wearing it at Paleyfest. What’s great is that it is a regular real life dress, so I can wear it in public without it being really obvious that it’s a costume. I’m going to D23, the big Disney fan convention, in August and plan to wear my Belle blue dress costume one day and the Belle Storybrooke dress another. 🙂
angiebelleParticipantHopefully, we will get our first sneak peeks in about a week or so!
angiebelleParticipantI went to Ross again today and found an even better mock up of the Armani dress! At least they were both pretty cheap- this one was $15:
Posing with a teacup, but I couldn’t bring myself to actually chip it- it was from my sister-in-law’s bridal shower!
angiebelleParticipantShe’s the only one we’ve seen, definitely, plus the references to Splash and ET. I really want to see a scene in which one of the characters reacts to his or her Disney movie. 🙂
angiebelleParticipantYes, that’s right- there is a special next week. That should be fun! And then the real promo, and soon after that we will hopefully be getting our first sneak peeks. Yay!

Of everything at WDW that could move me to tears, Peter Pan/Neverland related things did it the most quick and the most frequent. There’s just something about the scene when they are at the clock tower that just makes me choked up. The music. The “Here we goo!” The whistle “dee dee deeeee”(lol sorry )
It just creates this massive lump in my throat and I almost start bawling every time. The tears just flow. I’m not even the kind of person who does that often. I normally don’t cry during movies or TV shows. But as I have grown, (Disneys) Peter Pan and really anything about Walt’s life too(One Man’s Dream), just chokes me up. There’s just something inside of me that is really touched.Anyway, enough of the mushy gushy. Time to celebrate!
“Here we goooo!”
Oh, I love that part too- just as I love the equivalent scene in the Broadway show! “You Can Fly” is definitely among my all time favorite Disney songs. So full of hope and excitement!
If you are a fan of Walt Disney, you need to check out the Walt Disney Family Museum if you are ever in San Fransisco- it’s awe inspiring. You leave with a real sense of the legacy that Walt left.
angiebelleParticipantOh yes- I really liked Finding Neverland, although it was quite sad at the end. I forgot about the SyFy movie! I need to see that- I missed it when it aired.
I think there is a book on Hook’s origin too that I never had the chance to read.
angiebelleParticipantThat isn’t just Disney- that mythology goes all the way back to the original Peter Pan story. “When the first child laughed for the first time, that laugh broke into a million pieces and they all went skipping about. And that was the beginning of fairies. “
angiebelleParticipantI love all the behind the scenes photos the cast is posting! Sure makes me wish I were part of the Once family- they all have so much fun together.
