Participanthmm double tailed merman with a bird head why am I thinking Harpy/Greek siren.? Harpies or the Furies (is what the whip reminds me of) do have an underworld connection being the Servants of Hades. Whom torment/chase after people who’ve done horrible crimes like killing there parent(s) or something worse. [Lots of Tragic myths/plays involve them. ] OR some being had a big beef with someone.

ParticipantThere is diffidently some Faustian overtones with both this version of Lumiere and The Dark One in general. (Flames/Shady deals, Deception, disgrace and/or fallen from grace.) Impishness.

ParticipantThe fourth one to the right is a Triquetra, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triquetra
It has several meanings and origins among them celtic and norse roots. IN popular culture you’d most likely see it on Thor’s Hammer/ Asgard, The Book of Shadows in Charmed and meant to represent various threes like the Trinity. Or Mythological beings of power that have three aspects .
The fifth is the symbol for Fire hmm the red room and other places perhaps if it’s like Jefferson’s hat below it.
Then the all seeing eye, or perhaps the eye of Horus (Egyptian)
The pentangle which has connections to Sir Gawain and The Green Knight. etc.
not entirely sure about the other ones, but the cup perhaps is related to the Holy Grail in some manner.

He filmed for episode 12, so we will……..unless they cut it
I suspect that scene is Rumple “landing” wherever he ends up–Oz, Hades, ect. And then we won’t see him until 315.
You could be right……he filmed for half a day and that was it as far as I know, so whatever he did was not too extensive. Except for FB, it seems to me that Bobby will be filming without the main cast for awhile……. I’ve seen this Hades theory, but I don’t quite get it. Gold was saved, so if he’s saved, why would he be sent to the Underworld………unless he was kidnapped from wherever he was sent?
Bada bing bada Boom RumplesGirl 🙂
Yeah unless Rumple’s soul gets captured or something… Like say makes some sort of Deal Ala Meg in Disney’s Hercules or other mythical Heroes.
Tartarus is def the place for the baddest of the bad and Worst of the Worse aka Enemies or the Greek Gods and Heroes)
But there’s several levels and places, Fields of Punishment Fields of Asphodel and places for heroes; Elysium & Isles of the Blessed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_underworld
We have seen sections of the Netherworld however soo, there’s prob places there as well. He and Malcom could have ended up. Flash of Golden light though Typically would be good things I hope but who knows (other than the writers that is.)

I LOVE this idea. My money’s mostly on the Wicked Witch of the West, but I would be overjoyed if it was Morgan le Fey. The way they’ve set things up points to the WWW, but we’ve only seen/heard Oz references in passing, and time hasn’t been spent on them in the show. With the Arthur mythology on the other hand, we’ve seen Sir Lancelot, one of the most well known characters from the stories, and he’s played a major role in Charming and Snow’s past. We’ve also seen a fake Excalibur. We know that there is an original, and that it’s in the realm of Camelot. I really hope The Black Fairy ends up being Morgan le Fey.
LOVVVVE that and it would be so awesome. Aruthurian Mythos for the WIN also having Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty back story would be awesome as well. (another of mine and my moms faves) ^ ^
Also in Fae/Fairy lore there is typically two courts the Seelie and Unseelie; Light and Dark respectively. So I would not besurpise if there was some sort of power grab or schism etc. At one point or another especially with magical beings with major differences of Options/beliefs about magic/goals.
