I hate that they try to retcon Rumple and paint him as one who can do no right just to glorify Hook who they try to make him as the one who can do no wrong. It’s okay for characters to have flaws, but when those flaws are not acknowledged, it just makes the characters seem selfish and hypocrites.
Rumple’s episodes such as 108, 119, 204, 214, 304 and 308 were always the strongest of the series and all of them fit well together. This one compared to them was weak and it doesn’t fit, mainly because of all the retcons and characters assassination.
In addition, great way of destroying a powerful moment from 209 when Cora wasn’t able to take Emma’s heart.

Bar FarerParticipantIf it goes any lower then season 6 will definitely be the final season. If I were abc, I would try to find a new hit asap, put it on Sundays at 8 and move OUAT to a timeslot where it can die.
"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantWell, don’t you know that season 1 and season 2 never happened?!
"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantEmma is kind of becoming a little bit of a bunny boiler in regards to Hook. She can’t just let him go. She can’t live without him, she has to be with him, she’s too clingy, etc.
Strong character right there…
"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantI wonder if the fact that he murdered someone and she covered for him is ever going to be delt with before they get engaged
"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantI think that movie/tv producers and the audience stopped appreciating the quiet moments that allow characters breath and deal with everything that happens to them, it’s like almost everything needs to be action and violence. Even Game of Thrones season 5 should have been more quiet and less shocking and really be about the aftermath of previous seasons, but it wasn’t and it was rushed and sacrificed character development for shock (poor Sansa).
"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantThat’s what happens to shows that try to be like Game of Thrones too much.

March 17, 2016 at 11:17 am in reply to: TVLine March 8: Blind Item–Series Killing Off Star In Finale (Revealed) #319457Bar FarerParticipantWell, Regina did specifically say in the season 4 finale that her happy ending isn’t a man but being comfortable in her own skin. And then Robin’s death was heavily foreshadowed in 5×2 “The Price” when he nearly died. No price was actually paid then. So maybe a price needs to be paid now. I think Robin’s death has been planned since at least the end of season 4 when the writers realized how poorly Robin was received after the Zelena/Marian-Robin-Regina triangle. Sorry to say, but it looks like another father with bite the dust while Zelena will get to stay around and play mommy dearest.
1. A&E don’t plan anything.
2. What bothers me is that they think that the only way he can leave the show is by killing him, it’s not. They think that death is the only way that a couple can be broken up, well it’s not. There are couples in real life that realize that the relationship is not what they want anymore and simply split, an Robin could simply return to the EF with his son and daughter. It would actually tie itself greatly to what has been said in 104, a fairy can’t fix your problem in real life. When Tinkerbell match making Regina and Robin, they were both very different, at that time, they would have worked, but time has passed and life happened and they grew to be completely different from what they used to be. That’s poetic. Killing him off and leaving his son without parents is not.
"All your questions are pointless"
Bar FarerParticipantWhy is Roland so happy? Both of his parents were brutally killed. He should have despair in his eyes for living in this cruel world alone.
