ParticipantMy thought is that the photo also proves that he can’t stay with Emma without being thrown into the path of his father, because he’s here and a part of the curse Emma has to break. If Gold had proven to be an enemy, Neal would have legitimate reason to fear he could become a detriment to Emma. I haven’t seen yet how the dagger can immediately convey the message that Neal must let Emma go fulfill her destiny. They could still go the dagger route on the show, but I think the photo would be more unexpected and stronger at setting up Neal/Bae’s reaction. He can’t help because the Dark One is here, and Bae’s conflicted feelings could hurt Emma. That’s a reason to leave her, imo.

That's a cutlass. Not something one would use against an ogre, but the favored sword of pirates everywhere. I think this means he's going to fight Hook, and isn't that a very Peter Pan thing to do?
That makes so much sense based on what's been released about this scene. Apparently, Snow, Emma, Nealfire, and Charming were all seen outside and inside of the Pawn shop but no Gold. Someone on twitter asked the crew where he was and were told he wasn't filming that day. So, maybe Rumpel's been taken by Hook (or after a bitter confrontation with Bae, has decided to turn himself over to Hook and be killed – thinking his death is the only way to make up for the misery he's caused everyone around him..). Seems like a very 'Bae' thing to do – saving his father because of the man he was despite anger.
Oooh. That's both exciting and a bit chilling. With that particular group, I also have to wonder where Henry is. They could be looking for him at Gold's shop too. Hook could have more than one hostage, or he could be going after Rumple through Henry in some other fashion.

If Neal is Bae, then not only would seeing a pic of Rumple in the box convince him that August had connections and knew the truth, but it’d probably also scare him into complying.
Exactly. I just don’t buy the dagger drawing, because August knowing about the dagger isn’t that scary if Neal/Bae has every reason to believe that Papa is still in FTL. It’s a shock but not an immediate threat. Learning that his father is here and that a curse is involved poses a more immediate threat, so it just seems like a much better attention grabber. Especially with all the hinting that Bae won’t be happy to see Rumple.

ParticipantHere’s a thought I had earlier about what’s in the box. Rather than being something from FTL, maybe it was proof that something from FTL was here. Assuming Neal is Bae, a photo of Mr. Gold would get him to listen faster than anything else that I know. While planting the book at MM’s, August could have taken a stealthy photo. Bae seeing The Dark One strolling down the street or selling antiques mixed with hearing there’s a curse would have to be an attention grabber. The question would remain as to how August knows his identity, whether Blue gave him knowledge or if he found something while stalking Neal and Emma.

ParticipantThe biggest things that stuck out to me were that and the 8:15 pm that was previously mentioned. The funny thing about the 8:15 is that it isn’t really 8:15 in that scene. It’s 8:04 when Peter pulls the minute hand of Big Ben down for everyone to stand on. So, much like the clock tower in Storybrooke during Emma’s arrival, the clock was wrong. Yet it really was 8:15 pm in SB when the clock started again, as Emma decided to stay because of her maternal love for Henry…her son with Neal. It’s also 8:15am when magic returns to Storybrooke via Rumple as part of his plan to find Bae. So 8:15 ties to Neal, Bae, and Peter.

ParticipantLOL Love the tweets. The Terriers fan in me also loves the one about Donal Logue making a fantastic mermaid. These guys are too cute!
I’m going through major Neal withdrawl waiting for MRJ’s next episode. Neal’s easily my favorite new character this season.

ParticipantThe importance for Hook isn’t about the evil things Regina has done since or her redemption arc. Regina and Daniel had true love when Cora destroyed it. The important part is the parallel with his true love for Milah and choosing whether or not to become the thing he hates.
