I think I’ll just list the things I loved most about this episode.

-Mr. Gold’s panic attacks in the airport. His anxiety must be so unbelievably overwhelming right now. He’s about to be reunited with his son who probably hates him, he doesn’t have his powers, Belle still doesn’t have her memory, Hook and Cora are still running loose in Storybrooke…GAH!!! No wonder the man is freaking out! Robert Carlyle’s performance was absolutely flawless in those scenes.

-I also loved seeing how supportive Emma and Henry were being during those scenes. You’d think after hearing Gold’s threat, they would be a bit apprehensive, but they weren’t. I think that had more to do with Mr. Gold’s promise more than anything else. Mr. Gold made his initial threat after having one heck of a day, but he went back on his threat after having an hour or two to calm down. I’m glad he promised to keep Emma and Henry safe. That melted away a lot of my fears about their upcoming road trip.

-Regina’s return as the Evil Queen. HECK FREAKING YES!!! I’m all for redemption and becoming a better person, but good god did I miss my evil queen. Her redemption arc was getting a bit repetitive and overbearing, so it’s nice to see Regina back to her old self for a change.

-Belle’s scene in the hospital. Even though I hate the way Ruby and the nurses treated her, I think it’s important that we see this side of Belle. I’m looking forward to learning more about Belle’s cursed Storybrooke persona. We still haven’t met that person yet. I just hope the writers don’t drag this out too long. I want the real Belle back by the end of the season.

Oh my goodness, that scene almost killed me. I agree A Chipped Cup, Belle will be heartbroken once Belle regains her memories. But of course, there’s nothing a little magic can’t fix. Gold will find a way to mend it back together eventually. But the thing that upset me the most was not the cup shattering, but the symbol of Belle and Rumpel’s love shattering. The cup represented Rumpel’s love for Belle and his sorrow after hearing about her supposed “death” back in the Enchanted Forest. So, having it smashed to the ground was like taking Rum’s heart and smashing it to the ground as well.

Favorite Moment: Mr. Gold threatening the Charmings. What he threatened to do was terrible and completely uncalled for, but after seeing nearly every character act like a complete idiot in this episode, Mr. Gold’s ominous threat summed up my feelings about most of the characters on the show. And of course, it was perfectly delivered by Robert Carlyle.

Least Favorite Moment: CHIP!!!!!!! 😮 That was so sad. 😥

Most of my favorite moments pretty much came from Belle. I loved everything about her in this episode. Her bravery, her intelligence, her defiant nature, even her sexy costume. She was just awesome in this episode. I loved all the Rumbelle scenes and Mr. Gold’s scenes with Hook were also very intense.

My least favorite moment would probably have to be the Charmings’ house hunting scene. It just felt…out of place. But other than that, this was an amazing episode and a very good formal introduction to Belle’s character. But the thing I’m most grateful for with this episode is that it moved the plot forward. Rumpel and Hook’s rivalry is now in full swing, blood has been shed, people have been hurt (mainly Belle), Archie was returned safe and sound, and we have a new stranger in town. I’m just thankful that the plot is finally up and going.

    1. More scenes between Belle and Rumpel.
    2. More character development for Belle.
    3. Redemption for Regina and Rumpel.
    4. A Charming family reunion Part 2 with Emma, Neal and Henry.
    5. Better character development for Mulan and Aurora.
    6. No more characters from present day Enchanted Forest.
    7. More screentime for Ruby
    8. More Screentime for Jefferson
    9. Where’s August? He’s not my favorite character, but he just disappeared.
    10. And I’m all for Belle taking a cane to Hook’s head. 😆

I don’t really see Rumpel intentionally hurting Bae. Emotionally and mentally ? Yes. But he would never intentionally cause him any physical harm. And like others have said, if Rumpel had Bae’s heart, he would have cast the curse himself.

It is because of this fact that I’m actually glad Hook treated Belle the way he did. At least she’ll know not trust him when she sees him again.

I wonder if we’ll ever see another Dark One on the show? Either past or present? I’d prefer to see the ones from the past. If we were to get a new Dark One, that would mean that Rumpel was killed…and…I just…*Wipes Tears from Eye* 😥

I’m anxious to learn more about Zoso. I mean…the man was suicdal for God’s sake. 😯 I hope that isn’t foreshadowing for what will happen to Rumpel’s character.

Possibly. But I’m not exactly sure how that would play out. Killing Rumpel would kill a large portion of the plot, so that’s not an option. But I am interested in exploring the mythology behind the Dark One. Who was the original Dark One? Why can’t he be truly destroyed?

I think she was just drowning her sorrows in beer. 😆 It was immediately after she left Rumpel’s castle. So, Regina hadn’t captured her yet.

    Beer makes everything better.

    TRUTH.
