Interesting, so Greg became a double agent of sorts for the H.O.?
Exactly! Except my thought was that Greg didn’t realize he was a double agent until he saw Henry. He went to Storybrooke to destroy magic, then he saw Henry and remembered his mission for PP. He never expected to find Henry in SB. He attempted to accomplish both missions by enacting the diamond which would destroy magic, all while taking Henry to PP He would be a hero for both causes.
I know a lot of people think that the H.O and PP are the same person, but I have to admit that I think they are two separate people. PP doesnt seem to want to destroy magic, he is just looking to find Henry. I think the H.O. was created by “muggles” if you will, and PP is completely separate from that. I am still so on the idea that the H.O was started by Wendy.

belle of the ballParticipantI love the idea of Neverland not having any time. Wendy said that she felt like she had been gone much longer than one night, though Bae confirmed that was all she was missing for. It would make sense that it perhaps took the entirety of a night to fly Wendy to Neverland and back, but while she was there, time stood still.
What still gets me is how they had a picture of Henry possibly hundreds of years before he was born. I like the idea of Neverland being created to fetch the Dark One’s undoing and magic would allow a picture to be composed of the boy in question. However, Rumple would then have something to do with the creation of Neverland, so wouldn’t he have known when he pricked his finger and the map appeared exactly what the land was he was looking at?
belle of the ballParticipantI believe that Greg was one of the Lost Ones after his father was kidnapped and killed by Regina. His life parallels Bae’s in that he has no family to go to and he is wandering the earth alone. Not to mention, both of them had been in the presence of magic which may have made them a target for the shadow. It is quite possible in my mind that the shadow took Owen/Greg as a child and brought him to Neverland. After being denied by Peter Pan just like Bae was, Owen joined to cult of boys to help find Henry.
Maybe the shadow/Peter Pan brought Owen/Greg back to our world so he could search for Henry himself. He was shown the picture of the boy and sent on a mission to find him. But being back in our world made Greg continued his old mission to find his father rather than Pan’s journey to find Henry. This is how he stumbled upon the home office (which I do believe is completely separate from PP and the Lost Ones). When finally entering Storybrooke, Greg was faced with both of his missions – the home office’s mission of destroying magic, and PP mission of bringing Henry back to him.
It was Greg’s plan to accomplish both missions – destroy Storybrooke while taking Henry to Pan.
Now, as for Tamara, I am not sure how or why she knows about Henry… this part I am still working on.

PS: Welcome to the forums!
Oh thank you! I’ve been reading the forums since S1 and I figured it was finally time to get in on the debates and theories rather than just reading them 😀
😮 I never even thought of August! This makes perfect sense. I was so upset with the reveal of what was in the box – it was built up so much only to be a few typed words. And I always thought he could have said Bae’s name; afterall, it’s not a fairytale character that if someone over heard the name they would understand what was going on. It wasn’t like he was telling him he knew he was Cinderella or something and if overheard someone from the Home Office could figure out what was going on.
belle of the ballParticipantI love the idea of Bae’s name being a flag for the Shadow! It fits perfectly into the Rumple storyline, even if I am not sold on the idea that Rumple has anything to do with the shadow or NL. But this idea sure does take me a step closer to jumping on that boat! I am not letting go of the Bae as Pan theory – i think the significance of Wendy telling Bae that he could not touch the soil was the key. So far, he has not touched soil, just the waters surrounding NL. I think at some point the shadow will come looking for Bae and perhaps attach itself to him. It is from here that Bae gains the ability to fly and therefore never does have to touch the ground in NL, allowing him to come to our world/save the lost boys.
I wonder if the shadow attaches itself to Bae, if it may still be triggered when his name is spoken. Perhaps Wendy says his name and he is whisked back to the Darlings and it is then he understands she needs to refer to him by a different name *cough* Peter *cough*. And so the name change begins!
I also agree that there was a reason Wendy mentioned Mermaids in NL. Of course, Mermaid Lagoon was important to Wendy in Disney’s animated feature, but this is our third mention of mermaids and we haven’t seen an Ariel yet! Are they trying to heart my Disney heart? 😥
I cant wait to see how the Bae/Hook theme plays out. As the only son of Milah, I cant help but wonder if he will take Bae under his wing and pose as a father like figure for the boy. After all, what would hurt Rumple more than seeing his wife’s lover as a better father to his son than he was?
