That hug is actually Bobby and Emilie, not Rumbelle…….which is ok by me, lol. They shot inside Gold’s shop. but when they came out, I think fans assumed the hug was in character. You can see Bobby’s water bottle on the window sill -and it was there in another photo. So, this is Bobby and Emilie hugging…which I adore. I love their friendship and seeing them hug gives me warm fuzzies.

I wonder if Henry will be Rumple’s undoing because Rumple ends up making a sacrifice to save Henry.
I don’t think Gold will save Henry, Gold is out for Gold only no one else you saw how he played Snow. Gold is very clever so I wouldn’t put it pass him to get rid of Henry some time. Still wish that I can find that article stating that Gold is after Henry and no one notices what Gold is doing with Henry.
That’s not true at all. Why is it ok that he should die and Cora should live? Cora would have killed him, taken his powers and used it to destroy everyone. Gold would die a thousand times over for Belle and Bae…..He also kept watch over Snow and he helped Henry this season. There are other instances as well.
That interview you are referring to did not say Gold was after Henry. It was very cryptic, saying in essence that Gold has a plan……….that plan could be anything. It could be him protecting Henry.
The idea that this man, who has believed himself a monster, who wants to be the best version of himself, would harm his grandson, makes no sense. He’s struggling probably with what to do, but he knows the Seer’s visions aren’t always what they seem.
Gold’s redemption arc shall continue on its beautiful path…….
betsypaige24ParticipantThank you, Rumple!
betsypaige24ParticipantI don’t buy and never will buy that Gold would EVER EVER harm Henry – no matter what the cryptic spoilers say. He has such love in his heart, he has changed, he wants to change. He cares about Henry. Ok, he might be torn inside as to what to do, but he knows the seer’s prophesy isn’t likely what it seems. I’m sure he’s going to struggle with what to do…but he will figure something out. This is a man who loves intensely and deeply. He likes Henry, he cares about him, he won’t hurt him. Yes, I know I repeated myself, but I feel very strongly about it.
I also think there is a greater chance that I become President than that Gold leaves Belle/Lacey. IF he goes to Neverland, , she must go with him. Keep in mind that the regaining of her memories is going to be a huge part of the finale – that much is pretty clear. He is desperate to save her – and he will. He would die a thousand times over before leaving her side.

th Belle [Emilie de Ravin] to think about, so he’s distracted while all this is going on,” Carlyle says. “What he thinks about that isn’t really clear until Episode 22, at the very end, where you realize what he’s actually up to. It’s another game-changer of an episode. Everything turns around in that moment
Bless loose lipped Bobby. But it’s this quote that gets me. It’s not until 22 that we will realize what Rumple has been doing which to me means all these times until 22 where it looks like Rumple has gone very Dark Side (“wars have costs” for instance) is really him doing something else. Like he’s got this plan that won’t become clear until 22 but until that moment, we will all think he’s being Dark and scary.
Could Robert Carlyle have let it slip that every literally turns around in that moment? As in Rumple reverses time and turns back the clock in SB, like a ‘reset’ button.
But if he turns the clock back for all of SB, won’t that mean that everyone goes back 14 years? So we’re talking pre-curse, which means no Belle and for that matter no Emma so no Rumple, he’ll be Mr. Gold again. I don’t think Rumple wants that at all.
I don’t think that quote has to do with Bae/Gold, I think it has to do with Belle. I think he’s up to something in terms of trying to get Belle’s memories back….and something happens which turns things around for him. Just before that sentence, he referred to Belle, but more importantly, the full quote contains a final comment from Bobby that that episode #22 also contains a game changer re: Gold and his son. So clearly there are two things going on here: Gold and his attempt to restore Belle and Gold/his relationship with Bae.
I think it’s very possible that Gold pretends to go all DO (re: the scene with Whale) in order to trick Regina…. or whomever.
There’s nothing the writers could do that would EVER EVER make me believe that Gold is going DO, that he would hurt Henry, etc.. He has changed, he wants to change; he wants to be that good man he once was – and he has that good inside of him. No way, no WAY he reverts back to his old ways…..that’s exactly what he doesn’t want.
