Feel safe here. We all have our varying viewpoints but most of all we have each others’ backs. I left a little post on your Emma thread earlier. Thanks for starting that conversation!
I.E Emma’s powers, I think possibly she never lost them, just lost the desire to use them. Methinks, too, that a passionate smoochie lip lock planted on Hook will quite deliciously be their transportation back to Granny’s in time for dessert. If she doesn’t, she is certifiably nuts (grin)

To be even more blunt…Emma could use a healthy and affectionate (pirate) boot to the behind, followed by a “yo, MOM” double-clunk on the head with Henry’s book.

The important thing is to have a friendlier atmosphere in which to chat if you want! If more of the CSers go to chat and spend the energy there embracing their own joy and literally ignoring the baiting and killjoy comments, you can share the excitement and just give a cold shoulder to any dogged downers using it as a form of bully pulpit. You don’t have to reply 🙂
There isn’t much of a comeback anyone can have to silence in regards to their comments. “Last word” on a message board just looks…rather petty when it sits out there being ignored.
In regards to the grand finale, regardless of what A&E choses to do, we are going to get some very lovely visuals and interactions between our life-worn lovers and from the looks of things, the *fun* has begun…along with some potentially gruesome Evil Queen torture! mixing it up, they are.
It never pans out exactly as most people hope because who can see into A&E’s minds except to say they are on overdrive. There will be some kind of last minute OMG cliffhanger/reveal to keep us tittering during the shorter hiatus until filming begins again. Will go positive for some, negative for others, and a little of both for some.
My hope is that they don’t domesticate Swan and Hook before they even get frisky in a fun way! OR the very worst case, Emma stays annoyingly and stagnantly stoic. Could happen, she is a tough nut (in risk of being too tough), but even so I just want Hook to get in some serious snark, sass and cockiness along the way. Keep her teetering on her high heels. and keep him ultra irresistible. Her homecoming is with the ones who love her, and Hook is on the top of that list.

We will still get a lot of on screen delight of Colossal Colin and Emma pulchritude!

Regarding any rampant Hook-hate chat and mean arsed disregard shown many members of this forum by any other posters wallowing in denial and self-indulgent whining, I am reminded of something written by a far superior wordsmith and supreme story teller:

Coupla comments;
“Killian, come back to me” twice, second time barely a whisper after she BREAKS his curse. That’s a special magic alright. The original curse said she would lose her magic by touching his lips. It didn’t say it would save his life. She saved his life. (I am going to give her one more episode to quit being a little s**t about New York and her self-serving stubbornness before I hope someone gives her backside a (pirate) boot. However, I think that is exactly what we are finally going to get…one more episode before she understands just what HOME really is)
Good things coming, but man oh man, when Hook said he was in it for the LONG haul, he wasn’t kidding.
I actually loved the new Regina. And telling that doomed psycho sister of hers while she sat in the jail that she would *crush her heart* tells me that Regina will still be a very edgy hero, today 🙂 I like that.
Rumple is baaaacccck. ‘Bout bloody time. She didn’t die a painful enough death. Good riddance. The scenery had her teeth marks all over it. Heh…or did she even die, really? But I think, sadly that the Rumbelle Wedding night be a bait and switch .Also, Belle isn’t gonna be thrilled when she finds out he double crossed her to murder Zeleeeeena. Not a very good haaaht there, Rumple. They get less breaks than Hook and Swan!! And these women have to quit wearing those toddering high heels.

Colin had to have had a blast punching himself in the face (grin) but I wonder which Hook is which??? And wasn’t that on the Jolly Roger, uh, below decks? Oh, and dear gentle viewers, going willingly INTO a portal to be with someone who was just sucked in is the ultimate sign of genuine love.

Well, well, well…
well, we know from BTS for the last episodes that Hook is alive, well and active, but perhaps in this promo shot,since he looks pretty beat up, pale and…wet??? (and looks like he collapses next to a well, as well (grin))… could Zelena be trying to get Emma’s lips on his any way she can by trying to drown him and Emma giving him CPR??? Weirder things have happened and the green biiiiatch wants him to stay alive and cursed or he’d be flapping chimp by now. Or it could be that my CPR certificate renewal class at work is fresh in my mind! heh

The whole Emma doesn’t trust Killian moment was a rather cheap angst-continuing ploy. It is obviously how A&E have chosen to build up UST tension. It is just what they DO. It did a total disservice to Hook AND Emma, especially in light of the reversal of “roles” that had nicely been set up. Obviously Emma has spent the whole second half pawning Henry off on Hook and to come off as the high and mighty control freak savior/mama made her look really …self-serving ugly. But She isn’t the only victim of the creators’ convenient brain burps.
Charmings’ half hearts must have also affected their brains…because their instant turning on Hook smacked of brainless ignorance.
A&E continue to have gaping plot/character holes but that is their style of writing and story telling. They are definitely “playahs”. I think they get away with it because so far, the magic charm factor outweighs the lack of consistency of plot detail. It is most annoying but it IS their story to tell.
Their male characters also tend to fall on the submissive side of the spectrum even with all the derring -do they display. “Suckers” for true love tend to be less bully-aggressive and testosterone riddled (grin)
As annoyingly immature as the “let’s all pound on Hook” scene was it still sets up the Emma realization moment of how much he means to her and allows the two of them to have an adult true love connection without the spector of Henry looming over them. They have to have that and the promo gave us two seconds of that possibility. The promo also gave us a scarily beat up looking Hook collapsing. He HAS been beaten to a pulp emotional as well and frankly, Emma has a LOT to make up to him for it! I am hoping that is their reasoning. If not Hook should tell Emma to hit the pike! Ha!
Even with the Swan and Charmings’ blah blah blah I like the odds for an imminent meeting of the hearts for Emma and Killian as two consenting adults!

This is all goooood. Watched it spoiler free-And I enjoy these episodes so much more without all the baggage of hate/snark/whining that permeates the Internet chit chat about every line of script from some factions of the fandom. I will attempt to stay away from the negative ick and let the story tell itself.
Great episode. Moved quite fast and got a lot of ground covered. Made sense, mostly (grin) Some excellent one liners and visuals.
and it certainly appears from the promo that forward thinking lovers of all things Killian and Emma will get the wish of an unforced kiss from Emma to prove TLK! The best way. No ulterior motives of saving Henry. I am pretty sure the *lad* will tell Emma exactly how Hook stopped him from stealing the car and was in truth, trying to protect him. (Did anyone notice the oh-so-clever *Game of Thorns* sign in the background when Hook commandeered Henry? lol ) And by the way, about trust and keeping things from people? Emma has habitually practiced that little activity this season regarding Henry, so I don’t put much concern in that snippy little gem of her to …Killian.
Neal told Hook in the hospital *thanks for taking the message to Emma* so that made perfect sense, and well placed. We still have the answers about the fate of the Jolly Roger, etc. etc, to address. And, very lovely headstone for Neal…beloved son.
Wonder if the monkeys just poofed or perished?
Zelena will earn her demise and then some.

And Regina being the TLK to end the Dark Curse had quite the symmetry. Leaves the door wide open for that other smooch of true love (wink) being it’s own definitive happening!
