I do believe we will all have the question of who August is in the next two episodes. Regardless of which character he is, what is most important is how much of a help will he be to Emma and Henry. We have only seen a little bit of him here and there. It will only be a surprise about who he is but I think the real shocker will be how much of an asset he will be. The writers know what they are doing when it comes to the character of August. Who he is to me has now become less important compared to how much he can do or even what he is capable of. Any thoughts of this?
This is a red herring in a red herring.[adrotate group="5"]charmingParticipantMickey your question reiterates my point which is he does not make anyone make any deal. That is the point. If you go to see Rumple you are going to make the deal you intended to make. How many poeple have gone to him and tell them their problems or rather he tell them what their problems are and have said no deal and left with no deal. None. Every single person who dealt with him has made a deal and none have walked away saying to themselves he is full of it I will handle the problem myself. Once again no one has. I cannot name anybody FTL or Storybrook who has turned him down for a deal after approaching him. However, Emma has turned him down when he went to her only to return to Mr. Gold.
charmingParticipantLet’s think outside of the box for a minute. These producers use to write for Lost and I very sure that this show is not their first rodeo. The Wizard of Oz can be just a red herring. Look at how many theories have come from just a few pictures and none really make all that much sense. Every plausible one has a plausible conter to the theory. The one that I will go with is that the Wizard of Oz story is just and should be just used by the trio of Emma, August, Henry and any other person they can get to their side as a game plan to fight the “evil empire” and defeated them once and for all to bring back the happy endings.
charmingParticipantYes. Does may theory of why he acquires first borns a plausible explaination. It is: he gets first born to deprive Kings, Lords or Generals fighting wars from getting the troops they need……if they really wanted the troops they will be forced to make a huge deal to get all of the first borns to enlist and fight in their arimies for whatever reason. It is a power thing for Rumple and it has always been a power thing because he knows better than any other character how it feels to be powerless. Being powerless to him means he is nothing and being power is having everything but unfortunately the cost is that he becomes evil.
charmingParticipantYes, Midnight Dreary I agree 100%. Have we ever met or have seen the same shows? You and I have agreed on more things than anyone other person. Anyways, she is Rumple’s kryptonite if I can use a Superman reference. Belle, i believe is the key to not only Rumple but his downfall. she can make him either win or lose the battle between Rumple/ Mr. Gold and Queen Regina/ Mayor Regina batlle. Absolutely!
charmingParticipantI agree about the redeeming and all that but first things first; I’d like to see a cat fight between Mary Margaret and Regina or a Snow White and Queen Regina one it does not nake a difference to me. Then after the cat fight, then they can all go on and have that redeeming, closure, feeling love and happy ending thing. Hey, just saying…….this will make for great television. I’ll drop everything for that….hey I’ll take the day off from work for that.

I’m anxious to learn more about Belle’s Storybrooke persona. What is her name? What’s her personality like? Is she really crazy? Does she remember Fairytale land? Ugh! The finale cannot get here fast enough!
Me too. There’s so many unanswered questions about Belle. She’s becoming more of an enigma than Mr. Gold! 😮
Yes, I believe Belle is a key to Rumple/ Mr. Gold. Up until now he really has had no weakness as Rumple or Mr. Gold whether he was in jail or not. He has only acted in rage and irrationally when it concerned Belle/ whatever her Storybrooke name is. She is an important side character who may become a regular character. I hope she does become a regular. I’ve always liked the actress who plays her in every role she has done. Her Lost character was one of the most interesting ones.
charmingParticipantAn Empty Heart, those are the very questions I ask myself. We all really do not know; on all accounts. The only Storybrooke version od Belle was when Regina visited her and all she did was look up and said absolutely nothing. There was also no mention of her in any form, nor acknowledgement. She only responded to the opening of the feed slot of her cell and all she did was look up. The is the 64,000 question of season one. If and I say if her name is the same I can say or we can say that she knows everything. Otherwise she may not. Every character who has a fairy tale name that was the same as their Storyvrooke name does know everything. Do not be fooled by Rumple because he only keeps the name Mr. Gold for whatever reason he has which is known only to him. It also took many episodes for Regina to confront and ask him of that. Belle is one of the major mysteries of the season. The others I’d say are: the fate of Baelfire, who August is, the Queen of Heart, Jefferson, what Cora deal is and how if any connection she has to Rumple and of course what is the deal with Prince “not so Charming” David??
charmingParticipant@slurpeez108: we can also include her birthday wish about not wanting to be alone and Henry showing up right after she blows out the candle.
charmingParticipantWow, you just explained Rumple/Mr. Gold’s theory of winning. While Regina and Emma believe in going out there and just kick some butt. Wow! You are onto something. For sure.
