Regina’s true love should make her stronger, not weaker. Regina’s true love should make her joyful, not tearful. Regina’s true love should walk down the street with her, hand in hand, not cause her to lock herself away behind closed doors.
We have a long way to go, and I’m hoping we haven’t met Regina’s happily ever after guy yet.
Regina and Robin, together, only if Marian dies? No thank you.Now that we know the Snow Queen runs an ice cream shoppe, Rocky Road is a really the perfect title for the episode that introduces her to us. I love, love, love the double meanings in episode titles.

I’m sure there were warlords in those days. So, throw in a twist, and make the warlord a woman. Give her magic. Give her a nursery rhyme name, and what’s not to love? I thought her costume was a pink, bloody, hot mess, but that tied together well when I saw her butcher apron really was a literal bloody mess.
We’ve wondered who all these background Storybrooke characters were, and who they might have been in the a Enchanted Forrest. Well, now we’ve met a couple more. The butcher and the ice cream scooper.
I liked David and Ana together. David and Ana needed a common adversary to fight against, and Bo Peep provided that. David’s story of his father tied him to Ana even further. David’s father left, saying he would return in two weeks, but died on his journey. Ana’s parents also left for a two week journey and died on their travels. These two have much in common. Two young adults, taking on adult roles, caring for the welfare of their families. David caring for his mother, Ana caring for her sister.
I loved Mary Margaret losing her temper with Happy and Grumpy. When Happy’s not happy nobody’s happy. Especially Mary Margaret.
Mostly, I loved the dynamics between Emma and Elsa. They are lovely together.
I’m looking forward to finding the answered to all those unanswered questions. Whose house did Belle find? Who owned the hat, and what magic does it give the new owner? What did the note say that Elsa/Ana’s mother wrote? Where is Ana? What happens between Ana and a Rumple? Who exactly is the woman who runs the ice cream shop, and what does she have in common with Elsa? How, and why, did Elsa end up in that bottle?
So I suspect RH will have to give Marian the kiss of True Love…and Regina may not like that…
But would it really be a kiss of true love?
Quite an interesting first meeting between Elsa and Emma. Seems Elsa’s walls are higher than Emma’s. I remember how Confused Emma was on her first journey to the Enchanted forest. She will totally understand Elsa’s confusion in our world.
WOW! What a fabulous story! Beautiful, complex, funny. I can’t wait to see where it’s going next. I love Merida and Marian together. Plus, Sneaky Granny’s wardrobe.
