As the fire burns, the snow melts around the circle revealing the full alchemy. I don’t see it raising up. I see the center sinking, then filling with dark waters. Possibly like the waters that bring back that which was once lost.
I really don’t want a resurrection. I just want Rumple found alive.
[adrotate group="5"]A question about the picture of Rumple, kneeling in the snow. Where did those clothes come from? It’s not his Mr. Gold suit that he disappeared in. It’s not the outfit he was wearing when Regina’s curse hit. It’s not the rags he was wearing when he became the dark one.
I’m really hoping that Neal failed to summon his father from the dead because Rumple was not dead.
Also, I think Belle will be able to decipher the writings. And, who came up with this plan to summon the dead. To resurrect? Neal? Belle? Lumiere?
Is this on the Dark Castle grounds? Has it always been there, but Rumple had it hidden?Nonnie, yes, I believe so. The twitter conversation was initiated by Shatner, who asked Adam why don’t they just give Henry the book to jog his memory. Adam answered keep watching, be haven’t forgotten the book.
Afterwards, Shatner, Adam and Colin arranged for some signed OUAT stuff to be donated to Shatner’s charity event.
Later still, it was discovered that the pictures of Henry, Regina, Archie and the book are actually for Quiet Minds.In this case, I agree with Betsy. They stated the rules of magic several times, on both shows. Personally, I never thought Rumple was dead, but if he was, he should stay dead. For Belle, Neal, or Lumiere to find a way to change the laws of magic and raise the dead is ludicrous.
If there was a way to change the laws Rumple would have discovered it years ago to change the past.I’m with Betsy, I’d hate to see Belle with Zombie Rumple, dead man walking.
I think this is a very misleading Press Release which should have been worded differently.
I hope Belle plays a significant role in this episode. Belle and Neal each have an equal stake in finding Rumple, and I hope they portray that equally between the two.
Adam responded to this question last night on twitter. The question of the book was raised by William Shatner. Adams response was along the lines of Keep Watching.
It certainly doesn’t look like a quiet reflective episode to me. Quiet minds might be another crazy insane (faker) lyrical chant from Rumple.
I adored the exquisite Daddy Emma scene. It was lovely and heartbreaking. But I’m looking forward to hearing what Rapunzel’s story will be. Except, wait we’re back in Storybrook and we’re solving a mystery. A really good mystery. I love it! Oops Rapunzel, where are you? Wow! Cool David Robin Hood scene, kind of odd to see David swiggin from the bottle….. Oh yeah, I forgot, this is the Rapunzel story. Ah, Henry and Regina, very touching, Regina is lovely when she’s with Henry…..oops I forgot this is Rapunzels story I keep forgetting. Rapunzel is gorgeous! Ooh, Rumple, really wicked shave scene, Zalena’s vicious when she talks about appearances covering up what’s rotting on the inside…ah, Rapunzel, oh yeah, this is the Rapunzel story, I keep forgetting.. No, wait, I think this is the hooded mystery creepy guy story. Hook, you’re hiding something. Fess up please, you will be forgiven. If you’re protecting Neal, just fess up. We love you, but there’s something you’re not saying…ah Rapunzel, I keep forgetting this is the (boring) Rapunzel story. Rapunzel, you’re kind of interrupting the main story now and it’s getting annoying. Ooh! Creepy hooded guy is really a great story. The Tower? Hmmmm Wow, if they had named it David and the Hood the forums would have had a blast.
All in all, with the exception of Rapunzel interruupting our main story, I loved this episode. But David could have had a storyline about facing fears with an already existing character, like Archie, or Granny, or Henry, and it would have been more meaningful. They didn’t need Rapunzel. I know the objective is to show that from time to time our heroes cross paths with other fairy tale characters, I get it. On the other hand, I think the problem could be that I was spoiled weeks ago! I hyped her up too much. If I hadn’t known she was coming, Rapunzel would have been a delightful surprise, and I’m sure to the casual viewer, she was.
