The red room in Henry and Aurora’s dream seems descriptive of a royal courtroom, and the color “Red” sounds a tiny bit descriptive of the Queen of hearts. Of course there was a “he” AND a she seen in this dream. Could the Sandman (a mythical character who sprinkles dust in the eyes of children to give them “good” dreams) be involved? Or Morpheus (the god of sleep)? Maybe not, since I doubt gods fit into this fairy tale universe. But when was the last we seen the Queen of hearts anyway? I’m wondering if she might return as a big time villain.
I really like the idea of the Queen of Hearts (and I’m assuming now that she’s Cora) being involved in this somehow. She’s become a major character on the show, and as far as we’re seeing, most evil things tend to lead back to her. (Well, OR Rumple)
Plus, we know that there's an upcoming episode about the Queen of Hearts. As for gods becoming involved… I don’t think it’s TOO out of reach. It may be a bit unlikely NOW, but who knows what they’ll bring in? 🙂
In the “Doors Lead to FTL” thread, we theorized A LOT about some of the different worlds, and gods definitely came up. I forget which ones, but they’re in that thread. 😀Really, I feel like the writers have opened up the possibilities for, well, anyone who isn’t “real” to appear. They clearly stated that we’d be seeing “story book” characters, and… there are LOTS of story books.
I also like someone’s theory (I forget who) that each book that’s written created a new world. Kind of like in Inkheart, if anyone’s read that. It may not be plausible, but… it’s interesting. 🙂[adrotate group="5"]clockwatcher

LOL What one of the walls is just a mirror and they’re looking at their own reflections! 😆
So Aurora thinks she’s a guy and Henry thinks he’s a girl? 😯
Right… well… *walks into a hole*

Ok there’s some pieces I can’t quite put together so I’m just gonna lay them out and hope for some good ideas as to how they fit together. I think the connection that Henry and Aurora are seeing each other is a pretty safe assumption to make. In the dream a room is mentioned with red curtains but now windows or doors. So some how across these two worlds there’s a kind of connection being made. There’s only one place i’ve seen a place that is a link between worlds and has these red curtains. That’s the room Jefferson’s hat takes them too when they’re going between worlds. As to where the doors are maybe since it’s just a dream there are none since there’s no way to physically travel between worlds like that? Or maybe the curse destroyed the doors with those other worlds only leaving the EF which is why there’s fire? I may be completely off but I think that those dreams and that room the hat takes you too are the same room.
I’d just like to say that THIS is a beautiful theory.
There have been a lot of awesome theories from, like, EVERYONE, in this thread… But THIS.I also like the idea that this is a premonition. It would be a little creepy… But cool 🙂
As for Charming communicating with Snow like that: that’s a really cool idea! But the writers did say that Charming would need to put his life in danger in order to contact Snow. Is a scary dream enough to put your life in danger?
Does the dream hold the potential to kill you?
Is there something else in the dream that could do so?
Maybe you never wake up from it…?clockwatcher

ParticipantJust wanted to keep this updated!
Last nights episode revealed a lot of information about the hat!!!
1. It can only opens doors to other worlds with magic.
2. It confirmed that SB could NOT previously be accessed through the hat, because it WAS a land without magic. But NOW, magic has been released in our world. Can doors magically appear and/or disappear in the hat?
3. The hat is (as we knew) not the only means of traveling through worlds. We’d of course heard of the magic beans, and curses, but now, we’re hearing about (ruby?) slippers. But if there are so many other means of world-jumping, why is the hat so important? It seems like Jeff’s hat IS special, so maybe it has other special properties?
I feel like the hat itself is sort of like a crossroads. Instead of deciding where you want to go when you throw down a bean or use ruby slippers, you can go into the hat into the “crossroad” of all (or most of) the magical worlds, and at that point, you’re in-between worlds. And if time moves differently in all of the worlds, I’d say that the inside of the hat is kind of like Limbo, and when you walk through a door, you can choose what time you want to step into.clockwatcher
ParticipantSo, there’s been a lot of speculation about who Dr. Whale is, and personally, I love the idea of him being Frankenstein, though he could be a god, such a Poseidon.
In another thread, someone suggested that Dr. What’s might be from another realm (a “horror realm,” assuming he’s Frankenstein), explaining why Whale said Charming wasn’t his prince. So, after looking back at the pictures of the doors, I thought maybe he could be from door 9. Really it could be a few of them, though. But the writers did release information that Regina was able to affect other realms besides the EF, which was how she brought Jefferson to SB. Maybe this was how Whale came to SB.
Now, if he’s Poseidon, I definitely think he could be from door 8. I know we’ve theorized that this door could be the Little Mermaid, but… Maybe not. Technically, the Little Mermaid happened in our world, and if it was The Little Mermaid’s door, what would we find behind it? Water? Seems to me that a world for Poseidon, or Whale, makes a little more sense.

ParticipantI would LOVE for you to be right!
This is an AMAZING theory!!!!!!!!!! And it really does make so much sense!
I don’t think Bae would’ve been at the orphanage with Emma, though. I think it would be kinda awkward for a 14 year old to become close to someone, and then have a child with that person years later.
But maybe Bae just did something else in our world that brought him to find Emma… maybe he was looking for Rumple!Oh, and I’d just like to point out how much more ridiculous Emma’s family would become- not only will her step-grandmother have tried to kill her mother and step-mother, but the EQ will be Henry’s step-great-grandmother… and Rumple will be his great-grandfather. Not to mention any of the possible ways that Rumple could be entertwined with Cora and Regina and them getting powers! 😆

ParticipantHim being Frankenstein would be… pretty awesome! And unexpected! 🙂

ParticipantI completely agree with you. Storybrooke can’t have ALL story book characters, but everyone who was cursed was sent to Storybrook. SO, the other characters either must be in another world, or there must be a border to the Enchanted Forest.
