It’s too bad they’re not waiting it out until after the conventions are over; I’ll be at the NJ one as Baelfire.
We’ll consider it.
[adrotate group="5"]Daniel J. LewisKeymasterOh, and about the “read/unread” things, that information can be lost if you switch browsers or your browser erases some saved data to reduce storage space.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterHey, everyone!
I switched off something that I suspect might have been causing the problems with being logged into the wrong account. Please let Jacquelyn know if it happens to you again. It would also help to include a link to the incorrectly associated post, and then we can re-associate it back to you (and thus avoid the “That was supposed to be me” posts).
About the server, ONCE podcast and all other Noodle Mix Network sites are hosted on a high-end virtual private server (VPS). I manage the server myself (to keep our costs down), but sometimes things break on their own.
Solving math when you login is triggered by what an algorithm deems “suspicious.” For example, multiple incorrect login attempts (like maybe a bot is trying to hack into your account), logging in from multiple browsers (for example, Chrome and Firefox, or browsers on separate devices), or logging in from multiple locations (such as work and home). Thus, it will affect some members but not others.
Whenever you run into a functionality problem, the three most important things we need from you are:
- What browser you use
- Whether you have an ad-blocker (these can sometimes conflict with functionality)
- Exactly what you tried and what resulted
For now, log out and back in. If you still run into problems with the issues raised in this thread, please post here; I’m watching this thread now.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterBut in “Skin Deep,” it looks like Regina enters 4937 Enter when she checks on Belle. We don’t see what Jefferson entered in “The Land Without Magic,” but it was more than 5 beeps (maybe 7 badly timed beeps).
Daniel J. LewisKeymaster16 deleted scenes.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterHere’s the list of commentaries and their hosts.

- 4×15 “Poor Unfortunate Soul” with Steve Perlman (director) and Colin O’Donoghue (Killian “Hook” Jones)
- 4×18 “Sympathy for the De Vil” with David H. Goodman (executive producer and writer) Jerome Shwartz (coproducer and writer)

Daniel J. LewisKeymasterWe received our review copy of the S4 Blu-Rays from Disney. Any questions you still have about the set?
We’ll post an unboxing video today, and a full review next week.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterHowever it works, there was a subtle detail that tells me Emma is either now on the dark side, or on that path—crows.
The crow sounds have often been placed behind scenes with Regina when she was still evil. In the last couple seconds of this episode, there are crow sounds along with Emma’s “I’m so totally on the dark side, yo” look.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterThe developer of this chat room has graciously extended our free trial for several months, because I had recommended them in my podcast about podcasting. I’d like to return the favor and collect valuable feedback on the chat. I already shared this forum thread with them.
On the display-size issue, oncepodcast.com is using what’s called “responsive web design.” Essentially, it makes the site’s design and layout respond to the size of your browser. Thus, if you have a narrow browser, columns will be more narrow and the chat will take up more screen space.
Has anyone tried popping out the chat to a new window?
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterHave you tried clicking on the menu icon in the upper-right of the chat and turning off the sound?
