I switched chat rooms again. This time, we’re using the same chat room as the live page uses.
Unfortunately, the company who makes the other chat room is refusing to give me a refund.

Don’t give up yet. I’m testing this one. If it doesn’t work out, I try something else. My goal is to make the chat room more accessible and better on mobile devices.
If anyone has technical problems, please tell me what device, browser, and applicable versions you’re using.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterNot sure how I feel about the active users up top. It seems to be people who are just on the site in general, not chatting. Not sure if people want others to know when they are online, but not participating in chat. Feels a bit “Big Brother” and I am watching you….
The old chat had that, too. It just wasn’t refreshed as well.
I can see the chat on my computer and tablet but not on my phone like I used too…. is that a thing now? Its not a huge problem or anything for me, just asking >>

In general, “www.” is no longer necessary for websites.
Daniel J. LewisKeymasterThis is very strange. I did switch hosting providers in the last week, but I’m going to switch back this week because the other host will end up being too expensive.
Does it happen with just the forums, or oncepodcast.com, too?
What about any of the other noodle.mx websites? Try https://noodle.mx, https://theaudacitytopodcast.com, and https://resurrectionrevealed.com.

- Migrated this and all other Noodle.mx podcast websites to a new web host. This seems to have improved our speed, and I hope it will reduce the monthly server expense. (Wednesday and Thursday’s problems were some latent issues with the migration, but we seem to have fixed them.)
- Updated some core backend stuff. So watch for strange bugs that started as of 5:30 pm (EDT/GMT-4) on Thursday, October 2. Email issues to [email protected]
- The current chat room may get replaced.

What other ad URL are you being redirected to? The more specific you can be, the better I can narrow this down and squash it like the little bug it is.
