You know if Rumple ever had a musical number I’ve always wanted it to sound like the Miser brothers song.
[adrotate group="5"]darkones1fanParticipantDisney is going back to the classic novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame for its newest event series. Disney and ABC are developing a show called Esmeralda, which will look at the story of The Hunchback of Notre Dame through the eyes of the eponymous gypsy, according to Deadline.
The series is being written by Evan Daugherty, whose other credits include Killing Season, Snow White and the Huntsman, the upcoming Divergent, and the hotly-debated upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The success of ABC’s Once Upon a Time may be the impetus for developing more stories based on classic novels and popular fairy tales.
Disney’s original animated The Hunchback of Notre Dame was released in 1996, nearly two decades ago. While the original featured voice work by Demi Moore and Kevin Kline, no casting announcements have yet been made for Esmeralda.

Also agreed they mountains do look similar, Bald Mountain looks a little taller but sometimes scale doesn’t matter.
darkones1fanParticipantEmma in a dress….. Looks weird to me. But then again her technically being a princess is too so who am I to judge.
darkones1fanParticipantIn my headcanon the Dark One’s curse isn’t tied to The Curse.
Long ago, Blue was in love with a mortal man. But like all mortal men, this one was dying. So she enchanted a knife that when plunged into her TL’s heart would make him immortal so they could live together forever. The only problem was that it made him evil. He became the first Dark One. Blue, in a panic, didn’t think things through and hired a mercenary to kill the Original Dark One with the enchanted dagger but instead, all magic comes with a price, and the mercenary became the next Dark One. And on and on it went. This is why Blue doesn’t think fairies should fall in love, ti ends badly. So she hardened her heart against TL and decided to play both sides of the field, working for whatever side she thought would “win” in the situtation.
My headcannon is a bit cliche but I still like. Okay…So the first Dark One was a great and powerful demon. (Like Chernabog from Fantasia) Who ruled over all the worlds in internal darkness. It was not until the forces of light (Whoever they are) rose up against the Demon and fought him and his army of Ogers and Wraiths into battle (Yes I believe Ogers and Wraiths are connected to the Dark One) but then before the final blow was struck against the demon, he sealed a part of his soul into a magic Dagger in order to preserve himself. And for some whatever hundred or thousand years the original Dark One has waited biding his time waiting for the perfect desperate soul to have his power and to reemerge to him in his hour of great misery to trick him into restoring him to his full power and continue the work he did all those years ago.
A bit cliche I realize but I love these type of stories
darkones1fanParticipantOh, I can see a huge sacrifice needing to be made to create the Dark One curse. Kind of how in Harry Potter Voldemort created a horcrux. Sadly, or awesomely depending how you look at it, everything can be compared to Harry Potter now. 😛
Totally agree, its like what Rumple said. “Great power, requires great sacrifice.” and with a curse that has the intention of destroying and entire world I’d think a sacrifice would be made. Although I do have a feeling Neverland was involved in making the curse somehow? Still haven’t thought of any theories yet.
darkones1fanParticipantInteresting, DarkOne’sfan, I think we will learn more about the dagger and the curse origins.
Oh I forgot about the Curse. I’ve had this theory that in order to make the curse a large sacrifice had to me made. Like a thousands souls were sacrificed. Souls or shadows.
darkones1fanParticipantMy Head cannons for Season 3
1. Origins of the Dark One Dagger: I believe that we will learn more about the origins of the Dark One’s Dagger were it comes from and why it was in FTL when Rumple found it.
2. SwanFire and CaptainSwan I am of the belief that we will see both of these ships come to pass. CaptainSwan will be first since Emma thinks Neal is dead Swanfire second when Neal hopefully returns to us.
3. Rumple kills Tamara: I believe that if Rumple ever gets a hold of Tamara he would massacre her for what he did to Neal.
4. PP and Henry will be friends for a time: I believe that PP will take a false name to try and befriend Henry hoping to gain his trust only to backstab him in the back later or he will tell him he’s Peter Pan in order to befriend him and get Henry to do what Peter Pan wants him to do.
5.We will have Herny Rumple bonding moments: Really want this one.
6. Peter Pan is being controlled by a darker force: I believe Peter Pan himself is merely a puppet of a even dark threat. My guess the original dark one. (Perhaps the Original Dark One is Chernabog from Fantasia. Fingers crossed.)
7. Tinker Belle is a disabled fairy: I just have feeling something is not normal with her when it comes to her magic using abilities.
8. Mermaids are Evil!: Except for Ariel.
9. Regina is Ursula: Just makes sense.
10. Emma and Regina bicker: This will happen a lot I have a feeling in my gut.
darkones1fanParticipantIf they ever go deeper in King Arthur Lore I would like them to cast these people for Merlin and King Arthur
Merlin should be played by Q himself John DeLancie for he could play both a fun Merlin but also one that can be serious and powerful when need be.
And King Arthur should be played by Sherlock Holmes himself Benedict Cumberbatch becaues he’s awesome
darkones1fanParticipantNeeds a preview button, so I can know if I’m posting it right.
