ParticipantAny time I start to have hope over the little things I just remember the famous door picture.
Well, that’s depressing …

ParticipantChinatown? Do you think they’re going to bring back the Dragon that August met in Selfless, Brave, and True?
I was just thinking that. Seems likely.
Wonder what it’s all about.

ParticipantSince Robin is Regina’s “soul mate” per Tink, how can they be separated and move on? There is a lot of support for this rumor to be about ONCE, however, on another hit show, NCIS, Mike Weatherly, who plays Anthony DiNozzo, is leaving at the end of this season. No one has said how it will end for him in the show.
Yeah. I’m not convinced the blind item is for OUAT. Doesn’t fit altogether. However, Robin may still die as many clues point in that direction. But I hope he won’t. Not after an entire season dedicated to saving Hook from darkness and death …

ParticipantI’ve been thinking that if Robin “dies” in episode 21 “Last Rites” it may very well be linked to what happened in “The Price” and going back to that, well, Robin jumped straight into a sword protecting Regina. So if that has something to do with Robin’s demise, Regina will be thoroughly heartbroken. Perhaps, Hades will claim Robin’s life to have the price paid. Regina will want to give up her life to save Robin once again, but of course, Robin won’t let her. If we toy with the idea that Robin may not be completely dead, perhaps his fate will be linked to Regina. A&E just said that the road to redemption is long and that forgiveness really has to be earned, so maybe Regina now has to spend all her time on that little project to have Robin one day (maybe not for a while) rise from an otherwise eternal sleep – or at least something like that.
I say this, because it really does not make sense to kill off Robin for good (MatthewPaul already wrote why).

ParticipantIf they don’t kill him, it leaves the possibility open that he’ll return. If the writers don’t want RH on the show anymore for whatever reason, I can see how they see killing him as the most reasonable option to keep having to avoid saying “he’s not coming back” over and over again. Not that that worked with Neal. But eh.
Personally, I see killing off Robin in a permanent capacity even crueler for three main reasons: 1) Outlaw Queen has had so much build up and development for 3 Seasons. We also had a huge amount of drama with the couple in Season 4 in particular. So Regina has to suffer losing her true love yet again, despite how far she’s come? We as viewers would have gone through all of Outlaw Queen’s emotional rollercoaster for nothing? 2) Robin Hood has two little kids, with one of them being an infant. You kill off Robin, and Roland is completely an orphan with none of his birth parents around anymore. As for Baby Pistachio, her remaining birth parent would be Zelena… 3) All of 5B is about bringing Hook back from the dead, so they’re going to tell us that Robin’s death has to stick in the same arc? The more the show finds loopholes around “dead is dead”, the harder it is to convince the viewers when they really want us to believe it for certain characters. That’s why there are some Neal fans out there who continue to not entirely rule out the possibility, even when the show continues to remind us “he’s not coming back” at least once per Season. In Season 3 it was Emma saying “you can’t prevent his death from happening in the past, because he died a hero saving all of us. You can’t take that away from him.” In Season 4 it was the Apprentice saying “he died in the real world, and that can never be undone.” In Season 5, it’s Neal himself telling us “I’m not in the Underworld. I’m in a better place, and I’m happy there.”
This!

ParticipantWhat bothers me is that they think that the only way he can leave the show is by killing him, it’s not. They think that death is the only way that a couple can be broken up, well it’s not. There are couples in real life that realize that the relationship is not what they want anymore and simply split, an Robin could simply return to the EF with his son and daughter.
THIS! Although they’ve put too much effort into making OQ sea worthy to sink it with anything less than a death. The problem is that in OUAT, relationships become rather static after the “hook up” phase (the only other thing they know how to do is the Rumbelle on-again, off-again carousel of hell). So OQ hasn’t evolved much, one way or another. But the depiction of the sort of estrangement you’re describing requires careful writing and characterization, and simply put, screen time spent telling the story. Not OUAT’s forte.
Yes. They put OQ through hell, but wanted to show that they were two mature people meant to be together, who could handle anything. And now the problem is … Then what … ? And then apparently they cannot think of anything besides death to restart drama.

ParticipantA & E address, sort of, the Robin Hood rumor via EW.
http://www.ew.com/article/2016/03/16/once-upon-time-robin-hood-deathStill not reassured though. They talk only of Regina’s happy ending. Not Robin’s.

ParticipantLittle John taking Roland back through to Camelot which just so happens to be next to the EF. Yeaaaah. Robin’s dead.
Guessing that leaves Baby Pistachio with Regina and Zelena to raise together, provided that the two have finally made peace with one another?
I find this to be so very sad – storywise. For Robin, for Roland, for Regina, for “Pistachio” … What’s the point. After everything …

ParticipantThe problem is that this involved many other people, from the make up artist, Lana and Sean. Like i said i wont get into detail about this, bc at the end even if was true they would be saying nothing happened, and if nothing happened they would be saying the same, so there is no way of knowing who which version is right or wrong, since that is the problem with rumours only the people involve know if is true or not and in artistic world, things like this if happen are always hidden and is always the weakest link to pay, like we saw with Kesha case. So at this point i prefer to think that, since i dont believe this will be storyline on the show and if is not about these nasty rumours, then i say Sean asked to be out, maybe tired of all the hate and wanting to do other stuff. We will have to see what he does next, if is for ABc or disney. We know for a fact that the MRJ rumours were killed when he worked for disney and ABC after OUAT and now in going back to film 512. so we will see based on what Sean does next.
I don’t believe it for a second. Adam did not just deny it, he became emotionally invested. It really bothered him. But enough about that.
From a plot perspective, I don’t want Robin to die and Regina to lose another love. But if it happens, we’ll see how they go about telling the story and if the death is permanent, a curse, or something we have not yet theorized.

ParticipantI think there is pretty much no chance they are going to show any other afterlife realms after this season. Whatever happens with all that happens, and whomever is dead will be dead.
This. As for everyone except Rumple, Henry, Violet, Belle, Regina and Emma seemingly getting sucked through the portal, cue *eye roll.*
I tend to agree – UNLESS …
The Underword is neither Heaven or Hell. It is purgatory … So it would make some type of sense to go even further than that. But that then brings me back to the problems with bringing only some back from the dead …
So you’re probably right. It’s just so peculiar spending a whole season bringing one person back to then kill off a parallel character in a single episode.
But we’ll see. There’s something we haven’t considered. Im sure.
