Jiminy’s JournalParticipant
Lily was a welcome surprise.
[adrotate group="5"]Jiminy’s JournalParticipantactually had to sit here and think through all possibly B-words… is it belief? LOL
“Louisiana doughnuts”
OH! LOL!! Well, hopefully no B-words in the finale.
Beignet. Beignet, beignet, beignet.
That dragon was Lily, by the way. Don’t know who the couple were. Nice detail keeping Wish!Henry’s scar in the final scene.
Crazy idea? Why not take Wish!Rumpel’s Dagger, while he’s frozen? Also, get help from Pan! PAN! NEVER! FAILS!
Why is Wish!riel talking? Regina didn’t give her back her voice until Neverland. At least, we got to see her grotto. On a related not, how could Wish!Cruella even kill Henry?
Why is Mickey blind? At least, he’s meta.
Also, that Deception promo quoted Rumpel. Nice touch, ABC.
BEIGNET!
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantIsn’t that what happened at the end of 3A?
I’ve never believed that it was possible for Rumple to fatally stab both Pan/Malcolm and himself. Like, the human body is not 2-D. That dagger is not that long. But there’s a difference here. Wish Rumple is the Dark One, only he apparently has no dagger. He’s still the Dark One. So what happens if one Dark One stabs another with the Dark One dagger?
Dark One-ception.
It’s a dark one inside a dark one.
He begins two times the dark one.
Yeah, it confused me, too, but I think, ultimately, it was still longer than the distance between Pan’s back and his front.
Rumpel stabbing himself has always been a plothole that’s bothered me. But the whole thing is:
Rumpel stabs himself, but, since he uses Pan as a proxy, Pan becomes the Dark One.
Rumpel stabs Pan, making himself the Dark One.Since it’s the same action, the Dagger is trapped in a paradox. To resolve the paradox, both individuals are killed, and the Dagger vanishes. Pan is never recognized as the new Dark One, so the Vault resurrects Rumpel, the last Dark One before the paradox.
I have heard one explanation that Pan’s immortality is broken, when Rumpel dies, and that’s why he turns back into Stephen Lord, but I don’t think that was ever explicitly stated (unless it’s in a commentary or a writer’s tweet). This also doesn’t exactly explain how Pan was once again Robbie Kay in Hades.
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantBased on that promo, Rumple looks to be stabbing the Wish Realm version of himself with the dagger. Years and years ago I know people questioned what would happen if Rumple stabbed himself with the dagger–the paradox would likely overwhelm the curse and end both the Dark One’s curse and Rumple’s life. Maybe that’s how Rumple dies in the finale and reunites with Belle.
Isn’t that what happened at the end of 3A?
The solution cannot be Rumple stabbing himself. Otherwise Zozo would have done it all those years ago. He needed someone else to kill him to rid himself from the dark one powers. It has to be something else and they better land it. If they introduce this silly Wish Realm Rumple and don’t stick the landing to the Belle and Rumple storyline, I’m gonna be pissed. I’m still holding out hope that Henry is the guardian. If that storyline gets pushed aside like Facilier, it will be beyond disappointed.
Zoso didn’t have the dagger. The Duke of the Frontlands did.
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantDoes anybody else find it strange that all the promo photos were from a deleted scene?
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantWhy is Grumpy with Blue? I don’t like this…
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantBut how is Robin 18?
She’s not. She’s 25, as per “The Eighth Witch.” Maybe older, depending on Lucy’s current age (since she turned eight in that episode).

Yeah. 🙂
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantYou…might be interested in my fanfic. https://archiveofourown.org/series/470182
That was excellent! Clearly you are the nerd they needed to hire because not only was your story well written, but it managed to fix all the problems with the Dark Swan/Camelot arc. You also captured the real emotion and relationships that these characters should have. Thank you!
Keep reading, because I fill in a bunch of other plot-holes!
Jiminy’s JournalParticipantDon’t forget that moment with the fountain.
Remind me….what moment with what fountain?
