Overstressed Rumple would be kind of fun to see, although i think it would take a LOT to get him to that point. ๐
Or maybe not too much at all. That guy has been around for so long focusing on only one goal, what’s gonna happen when he has to find Bae, keep Belle safe, toy around with the Charmings, and get his vengeance on Regina and his ex-wife at the same time?

She shows up in the eppisode with hook right? And the character discription makes me think she ran off with hook when Bae was little….
I wonder if we’ll see her in Stroybrook along with Hook? I mean it’s possible, if she ran off to Neverland with him, she wouldn’t have aged.
So if she’s there, and Bae turnes out to be Henry’s father (as sees to be the case so far) then poor Henry will have one of the wierdest (most awsome) family trees in history. ๐
She does look like she could be Bae’s mom, but I honestly hope she doesn’t show up to SB. Rumple has enough stress to deal with in his life as it is. ๐

ParticipantI laughed when I saw these pictures-espcially at the ones with Charming and Regina. Charming just looks kinda awkward and out of place, and Regina is just doing an exaggeration of what she does every day in her office. ๐

ParticipantThanks for this theory, Dorothy. I never thought about it before even though I really wanted a young Baelfire to be seen in the orphanage in The Return except for the fact that I don’t want him to be 14 years older than Emma, at least not if he’s Henry’s father because then their prior relationship comes off as skeevy, imo.
I’m in the “Bae is Henry’s father” club too, but that’s also my #1 concern. A grown man having a relationship with a barely legal teenager is just creepy. That’s why I’m hoping that Bae came through at a later time than Pinocchio and Emma did.
The next time we see Bae I’m sure he will be emotionally scarred, but he’ll still be the same brave, headstrong kid we saw before. And Gordy struck me as being an active leader, since he was the one leading the other kids out of the orphanage. If Bae does turn out to be Jack and Gordy turns out to be our giant, I can see these two strong-willed kids butting heads over making decisions for their group. Maybe the reason Jack is described as running from his past is because he got into a fight with Gordy and he ended up badly injured or dead?

ParticipantI also thought he’d be a bit older….like around the same age as the guy who played Hook in that movie with Robin Williams as Peter Pan.
meticulous style and old-school manners of a proper gentleman”. “Hook relishes every challenge and never backs down from a fight, whether the reward is power, riches, or women
A guy with that description might be shown going for every attractive woman he sees. Belle would probably be at the top of the list if we go on the assumption that Rumple is his enemy. But then there’s also Emma because she’s technically a princess, and sweet, flirty Red. With the outfits that girl wears she’d be a walking magnet for a guy like Hook! ๐ฎ I even read posts from some people on tumblr who already ship Hook with Regina ๐
beneath that veneer lies a vindictive enemy who will not rest until all his enemies have been defeatedโฆ and humiliated
Besides Rumple, he could also be after Regina because she cast the curse. Come to think of it, he actually sounds like a male version of Regina.
I was thinking that maybe the flashback will be to when Captain Hook met up with Milha, Rumple’s ex, and then something happened between them.
I really don’t think Milha is Rumple’s ex-wife. If they were going to introduce us to her I think they would’ve done so back in Desperate Souls. I think she’s just a character who’s going to be used to introduce us to Hook back in FTL.

Participant1. The character you first fell in love with…
For the first few episodes it was Emma2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now…
Rumpelstitskin-he was so crazy and creepy at first but after seeing his backstory I’m totally rooting for him3. The character everyone else loves that you don’t…
Regina-even after seeing her backstory I still don’t feel sorry for her4. The character you love, but everyone else hates…
I dunno…every character I love has their own solid fan base.5. The character you used to love, but don’t any longer…
August ๐ก6. The character you would totallly smooch…
Jefferson ๐7. The character you’d want to be like…
Maleficent or Red8. The character you’d like to slap…
No one. I would say August but he turned to wood, so no need for that.9. A pairing that you love…
Rumbelle and Mad Swan ๐ฏ10. A pairing that you despise…
Golden Swan and Swan Queen. I don’t see any of those pairings happening. Ever.dorothy

My first watch of Price of Gold, I was fascinated by the scene where Henry enters the apartment after Gold hired Emma. Gold’s demeanor, voice, stance changes when Henry enters. At first, I was very confused by this. Then, after Desperate Soul, just assumed he acted that way remembering his son.
I always read that scene as Gold thinking to himself “Oh crap it’s the kid! Smile and be nice!” ๐ฎ

ParticipantCan’t wait to meet the guy (whoever he is) that get’s to fall in love/date Emma Swan. He’s going to have to be a special man or just very persistent….
For sure. ๐
I just want it to be someone surprising; someone we wouldn’t expect but when explained it makes sense. Like when we found out that Rumple was the beast.

ParticipantBut i totally agree that they could leave it like it is. They don’t need to do more there though they could if they want. Especially if Bae ends up not actually being Rumpel’s son.
That’s what I’m thinking. They already hinted at the possibility of Bae not really being Rumple’s kid, and they already hinted at what happened between Rumple and his wife. They don’t need to drag her out and actually show her leaving to get the point across.
Besides, leaving your spouse out of boredom is way different than leaving them because they deserted the army. Leaving out of boredom is pretty self-explanatory. You’re bored and there’s nothing else going on. A bored housewife ditching her family sounds more like something an incredibly selfish person would do if you ask me. Leaving your spouse because they abandoned the army during wartime sounds like the complete opposite. Someone who would do that probably felt that their spouse had committed the ultimate act of disgrace.
I don’t see how there is any way this new character could be Rumple’s ex-wife. It’s probably because we all love Rumple’s character so much that it’s easier to think that his ex-wife must’ve been a shallow, self-serving woman.
