There is no off topic here. I just find it uninteresting if Rumpel just knows everything. And he doesn’t seem to. He thought August was Bae so he doesn’t know who Bae is or where he is in the real world. He is still searching for him. And i think that Rumpel could have a plan without it being necessary that he had has memories for the 28 years everyone was on hold.
I think the reason that Rumpel had both the bottle of love and needed to know Emma’s name is because both of those were needed for him to regain his memories and for Emma to become the breaker of the curse.
YES I agree…in the pilot end scene when Mr.Gold hears Emma’s name, something clicks, i think this was his trigger and he has started to remember his FTL life since…Mr.Gold is a key player and always seems to be one step ahead of everyone but i think he does not know every detail…after all he is in our world now! a land without magic so his power is limited!
[adrotate group="5"]I LOVE all the theories about Bae…this one is pretty exciting too…because if he is a wizard…there could be a very angsty filled EPIC battle of power between Rumpel and his son…it would be sad but awesome if Bae got corrupted by power just like his father did…but since Bae is not a coward, he could have gone REALLY DARK over the years!!…a very dark wizard would be cool! And the show needs a new villan for season 2!!
If this theory becomes true I would LOVE for Bae/wizard to be played by Julian McMahon, I just keep picturing him…He could be an older version of Bae lookwise at least for me, and Julian’s acting is VERY good plus he looks pretty badass/smart/mysterious =) which i think the wizard of Oz should be
RumpleGoldFan I believe in the Jefferson/Bae theory too…I really like your elaboration on the the theory…I think this could be possible and very interesting….Bae was running away from Magic and then he eventually HAD to use it, I love the irony of it all….it could also explain Jefferson´s hesitation to use magic later on…he has a Love/hate relationship with it…due to his tragic past…
TheOnionGirl The Tinkerbell theory is the perfect twist, and its so true everyone assumed it was the blue fairy…but it could be a certain green fairy…What I like about the peter pan theory is that in Neverland people don´t age…so it would be very cute if Rump/Bae got reunited and he was still a teen, imagine the Rump/Belle/Bae family <3...they could make up for the "lost" time in Neverland and have a happy ever after...
BUT then again I have a soft spot for tortured good/bad adults…and if Jefferson is Bae, it would be a great opportunity for a lot of amazing scenes filled with angst/anger/sadness/love, with him and Gold….the possible conflict/relationships/plot twists he could bring to the show as an adult would be amazing…And Sebastian Stan is a great actor so I would love to see him add this new dimension to his character…
Its driving me crazy thinking about the Bae…I really like his character and the kid actor was fantastic in “the return” ….I hope we get some answers soon…but i have a feeling it might be until season 2 =(
Daniel you should get a digital piano to pratice…that is what i did…In my dad’s house he has a piano, but I moved out, and only go to visit every once in a while…so I got a digital piano to practice at home…it sound really good…its not exactly a piano but its ok… 🙂
Daniel and Lissy, :Thanks for the welcome =) The piano is an amazing instrument…so glad to hear you 2 are musicians!! Since you are musicians…what do you think about the music in the show? I love it, I think it fits really well with the plot, its haunting and beautiful…My favorite is the Snow & Charming theme!
Daniel: I have a BA in Product Design, Right now I´m working 2 jobs: 1) In the morning I’m a freelance designer: I have a few regular clients, and usually have a lot of work in the area of graphic design (packaging, ads, logos cd art, posters, corporate identity, etc), and have a few product design jobs (mostly 3D renders, of furniture, packaging, interior design)..2) In the afternoon I give piano lessons to kids (beginner level)…I studied Classical Piano/ Violin for a few years in a music conservatoire but I did not finish the 8 years of training required to be a Pro, I only did 4 years so I´m Intermediate level…I decided to enter the Design course in University and focus on that…But I really love music it’s still a big part of my life…
I would love for this to be true…Because I want to know more about Bae and also I agree with Hjbau, it would be very interesting if Henry’s father was someone really important plot-wise…and who more important than Bae, the curse was made to find HIM…It would also be poetic if he was Emma´s true love and happy ending…and that she would break the curse that was made to find him…they are kind of linked that way… 😉
I read in a forum that Baelfire’s name seems to be related to the term: bonfire…so fire=fireman ¿Wasnt Henry’s Dad a fireman? 😆 I think this could be: “pulling a Rumple” and seeing what i want to see ..instead of what is in front of me 😛 But this theory is really good…and I would adore for Bae to be Emma’s baby daddy! Imagine the akward/amazing family reunions: Gold; Emma; Bae; Henry, Snow& Charming <3 lolz...
Wasn´t there a spoiler where the writers said Henry’s father was really important to the whole story from its origin?
Hi Snowfan 😀 you are correct its not set in stone that Bae came to this world…
But I kind of think if Rumple made the curse, its logical that he would want to be transported to the exact place where Bae was transported to, Since Rumple is all about the fine details I think he would include this in the curse, to be 100% sure he would be able to find him…
Another point: (correct me if Im wrong) but I think Rumple said in the episode when talking to August about the dagger,“..its over Booth, my son would never try to use me, and he would know that this knife would not harness any power in this world,because there is no magic in this world,That is why he chose this place he didnt want me dabbling in it” Gold said something along those lines so this maybe is hinting that Bae is in this world.. BUT..this show tends to surpirse us (which I LOVE)…so it could be possible that Baelfire is in another world without magic or maybe even in another time…
I´m really excited to find out more about Bae!!
