It’s a discussion board, Opinions will differ. Please accept that fact without taking it personally and repeatedly jumping all over someone for expressing theirs.Seems like you answered yourself. It’s a discussion forum and I’m not getting at YOU but responding to your posts and to what you wrote. If I offended you, I am sorry, never meant for that.
And I don’t base my theory on Snow White and Rose Red story – it’s merely an idea that jumped to my head.
What I’m actually theorizing about is that Eva and Cora could be sisters – to which you strongly opposed saying that because of Stable Boy this is definitely impossible. So I responded with my explanation of my thinking, intending to show that I have actual reasons to believe in my theory too, NOT to make you stick to my theory. This is how I see it and I never meant any offense, even though I could’ve come across as somewhat intense 😆evilqueenParticipantWell, we know that by the 'Manhattan' episode, Rumple and Emma are off on their quest so the scene cannot be postponed for too long. I reckon Gold not only asked for a favor but also blackmailed them – he's the one who knows most about magic and Cora so he is crucial in protecting SB, especially that Regina's stand is uncertain. He could've offered another deal – if Emma doesn't come with him, he will leave anyway and for good, find his son and not ever come back. However, if Emma does agree to come, she will make sure they find his son as soon as possible and then they will ALL come back to SB to deal with the problems.

I honestly don’t recall hearing about any other cast member raising your ratings. In fact, quite the contrary. Can I just add that even simple check on social networks show that Hook is definitely not the only one adored on the show.
On tweeter Colin has about 20k followers whereas Lana Parrilla has 90k and Ginny Goodwin has more than 200k. Similar for facebook.
So even if Hook is eliminated, there will still be plenty of audience left to watch the show.Statements like “I know many people who were going to stop watching it until Hook appeared” make me chuckle. Because how many of those people do you know in person? And how many of them were actually serious about it? We know human nature, more often than not, they would keep watching, waiting for something to happen, even if they weren’t entirely happy with it. Also, I don’t believe it, season 1 was full of action and the first episodes were just starting to develop the story – no room for getting bored.
I have nothing to Hook himself, maybe except for some of his lines, but honestly, what made me dislike the character was the fans themselves – claiming how he’s the best and the show would be nothing without him. He is a good actor and his role IS interesting. But that can be said about many other characters – personally I don’t think he will ever be as good as Lana but I’m not stating that SHE runs the show.

Regina may be charmed into seeing things Hook’s way. She’s not always been on good terms with Rumple. Regina is in a vulnerable place right now. What if Hook flirts with her and gives her a bit of self confidence and makes her believe he has feelings for her before cruelly dumping her and pushing her further towards her mother.
While this is a good point as Regina is just craving for love, I highly doubt it. Regina asked Hook for help before and he both failed and lied to her. Even though she’s changing, I can’t see her forgiving him any time soon, especially that she’s just learnt all that and the wound is fresh.
And I agree with Moe French and Smee!
Blue Fairy – unlikely, especially that she’s also a nun so she probably wouldn’t be lured by Hook’s ‘sweet’ words…
evilqueenParticipantI see it as the writers are showing the contrast between Emma, who only has ‘one personality’ to the rest of SB residents who, in a way, led two lives. While the fairy tale characters need flashbacks of the past to explain their oh-so-complex stories and remove the ambiguity from the bed stories we know, Emma’s life is presented to us as we go along and through herself and present events – August taking her for tours, Emma talking about Henry’s dad etc. No other character is actually talking about their past and that, to me, just confirms the boundary between them.
BTW, I’d love Henry’s flashback story!
evilqueenParticipantOf course I don’t want you to completely agree with me. But you’re very clearly kept stating that there are ‘obvious’ facts that completely deny the theories – even more, you said that unless we have any proof of what’s about to happen, we shouldn’t come up with those theories as they are not backed up by any ‘evidence’ as such. Most of this forum is full of theories not backed up by much more than just a thought.
Your posts felt not like you were just expressing your opinion but also that what you’re saying is a dogma and that none of what me or medchen wrote could be possible. I think differently so I’m not getting at you personally, it’s just yet another ouat discussion, I wanted to show that what you’re saying is not just one side of the story and even though you might be right, what we’re saying is possible too – and as you kept saying you’re not buying it, I was just trying to explain my thinking – it’s quite possible I’m wrong too.evilqueenParticipantyet another promo from abc trying to make us watch Revenge too:

nothing new on the OUAT scenes though.

I know one thing. Based on what I’m reading on twitter from other fans, if Hook doesn’t stay on for good, K&H might be running from pitchforks, axes, clubs, and torches!
Like I said many times – it’s a shame that the writers would have to compromise a good story telling for keeping a character they might no longer need.

Everyone is back to their ‘usual’ jobs and getting on with their lives, as suggested by Charming, kids go to school, yet MM seems not to bother with that?…
