that would be an interesting twist and very fitting, since Cora is the Red Queen.
Nope, Cora is the Queen of Hearts, not the Red Queen.

Regina obviously just needed a little reminder from Rumple about the curse, that’s all. Of course she knew about it already, because Rumple didn’t have to say much before she realized what he was talking about.
Why she got the Dark Curse from him in the first place, we might now know, it might be that she didn’t even intend to get it but that Rumple sneaked it in somehow. She considered it useless enough for her to trade it with Maleficient – and obviously once trade is done, she would be very unlikely to get it back, thus it wouldn’t be important for her to remember and she simply forgot about it.evilqueenParticipantGo Belle!
One thing though – GOLD. Why wouldn’t he want to report ‘the pirate’ to the Sheriff? This is Captain Hook we’re talking about and if he’s here, Cora is about somewhere too! Gold not revealing that is actually helping Cora! He could’ve at least eliminate this element of surprise for Emma and give her some advantage, as well as make people more aware of things going on around and people missing! Also, it would make the Charmings realize it might have not been Regina to commit the crime(s) and try to bring her back for help!
Now he’s going to leave to find his son and Belle is staying in SB with CORA around? How is this logical????
Also, he obviously didn’t eliminate Hook entirely, if he reported him to Emma, she would surely be able to deal with him, Gold has seen her powers and many victories, plus “good always wins”. So what’s stopping you, Rumple?evilqueenParticipant@dub1026 wrote:
I’m sure because Belle was the outsider when she was with Mulan.
I think so too. We see in the sneak peek that Mulan is hurt hence Belle is going to kill 'the beast' – so she turns out to be of a great importance to Mulan's village even though she doesn't belong to it.
evilqueenParticipantWow, this is VERY interesting! I’m all in for this theory to turn out true! And I don’t want Cora to be the innocent one either!
evilqueenParticipanterm, there are two identical topics here… It’s confusing, can we stick to just one of them, please?
evilqueenParticipantI thought that too but I’m hoping that they actually won’t merge the two Queens together, they are so different!
And as much as Cora and Snow White’s mom being sisters and the two Queens of Wonderland is so far my favorite idea, I’d hate to see OUAT copy Tim Burton’s Alice. The two are awesome in their own individual ways and merging them is a bad idea!evilqueenParticipantGeee, I officially detest US TV system. You guys have way to many breaks and hiatuses, not to mention bl***y adverts!
evilqueenParticipantPhee, your explanation that Cora might be the one originally to cast the curse makes A LOT OF SENSE! Personally, I would like that to be true!
However, as for how Cora knew there was magic in SB – I think that was clearly explained. She didn’t TELL Hook there was magic in this land, she SHOWED it to him. So to me, it was more of a guess than the actual knowledge – she must have tried if she could do any magic and it actually did work. Either that or she must have somehow sensed/felt the ‘change in the air’ from Rumple’s unblocking the magic or even felt it as soon as she entered our world – she traveled through many other worlds so she surely knows the difference in the magic/non-magic atmosphere.
I don’t think she knew that BEFORE she entered our world though (unless she literally sensed the moment Rumple introduced magic, which I doubt), it wouldn’t be a problem anyway. She SAILED into our world which doesn’t require any magic, does it? And we saw that even though before there was no magic as such, you could still use it if you had some bits of it left – like Daniel’s ring to open the portal in the hat or poisoned apple turnover. So it’s not like she was risking not being able to enter our world or to use bits of magic if she brought lots of magical stuff with her (I’m sure being experienced in travels like that, she made sure she had plan B. And C, and D, and probably even all the way to Z.), especially that nobody ever doubted that magic dust and compass combined would work so why wouldn’t a bean work either?evilqueenParticipantWe were discussing it in another thread. Possible scenario could be that Cora and Snow’s mother were sisters and rivals at the same time. Cora lost this rivalry and cursed Snow’s mother and her family (or something), the rage automatically got transferred onto Regina who could subconsciously hate Snow from the start but didn’t find an excuse until Daniel’s incident.
Another cool theory is that Snow’s mother was the White Queen from Wonderland which again would bring rivalry between her and the Queen of Hearts and would explain Cora’s connections to that land. -
