ParticipantI loved The Travelers, Marguerite nearly drowned in there 😛
Gosh, I’m surprised that after years of not watching it, I still remember all the details! It must’ve really affected me…As for Finn, it’s always been confusing me, all those weird relations…

😆 Regina would win.
Based on the last episode, seeing how strong she was when fighting with Snow, even without magic, I must agree.

ParticipantIt all kind of depends whether they are bound by their characters and are destined to be black or white. We see so many contradictions – in FTL Regina was the baddest of them all and showed no remorse or regret and kept on being merciless in her way to reach her goals – yet in Storybrooke she’s way more human and actually changes quite a lot. To me, it really is the case of the next few episodes – how she reacts to the situation will probably be the greatest test thus far and will hugely affect her future.

ParticipantI agree, I’ve been pondering that myself but I couldn’t bring it up as I keep thinking along the lines – ‘what came first, egg or chicken?’
Meaning: WE are used to categorizing fairy tell characters – they have been created for US to personify our fears and hopes – they are all so black and white. But in this show, not only there are different shades of grey, but also it appears they are not from our imagination but from a parallel world. So the books that we read must have been written BASED of this world and not the other way round. The FTL must have been the predecessor. Which brings me to the question – do OUAT characters tend to stick to either end of the grey scale ie black or white because they are bound to do that by the books and they don’t really have a free will as such, OR are the books truly only successors of the real life stories that happened and exaggerate the personalities to clarify stands? If it was the former, I agree, it would seem that breaking the curse would set them free BUT it would also create excuses for all the evil that happened in FTL because ‘it was destined to do so, no matter what’? Wouldn’t that mean, forget EVERYTHING that happened back there, conveniently, the hell of the Evil Queen as well as Snow White being a saint because they had no control over what they were doing (in a sense true anyway for Regina, as she was manipulated by Rumple)? Some would agree that’s not really fair – erasing all those events to give an equal status to all Storybrookers but the past would still strongly affect their current behaviors anyway so eventually things would be fair again. It would be funny to see characters read about themselves in the book and find out the REAL reason behind all their actions. Would they agree to what they were reading?
OR, there is no such thing as fairy tale and everyone has always had free will? FTL does seem like a lot of things being done or said are enormously exaggerated (Snow White is close to holly, Queen of Hearts can truly control hearts, Hook seeking revenge for years, ruining lives for the same reason Regina did) but we need to forget our set of rules and realize that FTL IS a different world and hence their views and perceptions of good and bad are different, their values are similar but NOT the same to ours and, ultimately, there is magic ruling in there too. The FTL characters are actually as close to aliens as we can only imagine and clashing of the two worlds would result in just one huge miscommunication BECAUSE everyone would be confident that they understand the other world very well based on little similarities but in fact, they would be wrong…Ok, I just realized I completely rumbled off the subject, don’t mind me, carry on, I’ll just sit here mumbling to myself…. 😆

ParticipantAh, Bailee Madison, I’m just in constant awe for her uncanny resemblance to Ginnifer!
Shall we start bets on who that surprising connection might be? 😈
My first guess would be Rumple – DUH. He is connected to absolutely everyone in this town/FTL!
Although I would like it to be someone else! It sounds like it is a significant one (although, as usual, it might just be a tease) but perhaps she has some connections to the Mills family?evilqueen
ParticipantAn interesting statement about Snow White’s mother:
There wouldn’t be any wicked stepmothers without ex-wives, and ABC’s Once Upon a Time will soon introduce viewers to the never-before-seen angelic queen who gave life to Snow White before evil Regina moved in on her turf.
“The Snow White story usually begins with the stepmother trying to get rid of her,” says executive producer Edward Kitsis, “so we thought it would be fun to explore what Snow’s mom was like. Her name is Eva, and she’s the person who taught Snow White how to be Snow White.”
Likely airing in late February and early March, the two-part episode, featuring the return of child dynamo Bailee Madison as Young Snow, will naturally take a dark turn. Says exec producer Adam Horowitz: “Snow’s mother has a surprising connection to someone we know.”
