My original thought with this theory was that the bean can sense where you need to go and that’s where it sends you. That’s why I figured that if Rumple had gone through as planned, yeah it would have sent them to a land without magic, like Blue said it would, because the whole purpose of the journey was for Rumple to lose his magic. But when Bae went through alone, the needs of the traveller changed, so the bean instead decided to send him to the land where lost, orphaned boys go.
When we saw Hook use his bean, I found it curious that he was so sure of where it was taking them. It sorta seemed that he decided where he was going and told the bean to take him there, which suggests that anyone can tell a bean where to take them, as opposed to it having a singular, pre-programmed destination. I reckon that with Bae’s bean, Blue had told it that it was taking them to a land without magic. But I can imagine Bae’s thoughts as he fell down that hole on his own were along the lines of, “I don’t want to be alone,” essentially telling the bean to take him somewhere there’d be people he could relate to, leading him to the Lost Boys in Neverland.
I’m guessing that when the giants used the beans, they could specify where they went. “I wanna go and plunder…*throws dart at map of the magical realms*…Oz today, please and thank you.” And then to get back, they’d had to have instructed the bean to take them home.
So basically, that’s all a long winded way of saying that I think the beans could go absolutely anywhere the user desired to go, and could access any and all lands.
This is an absolutely brilliant theory! 😀 😀 😀

I’m new to this site but I’ve watched Once for almost a year now. I’ve really gotten more into the show by the end of season one and from season two so far. Before that I just watched to ogle Regina and Ruby :p
I’m an Evil Regal. I look forward to discussing the show with other fans!My favorite characters are Regina, Ruby, Maleficent, Rumple, Jefferson, Frankenstein, Hook and Grumpy.
The ones I really don’t like are Snow, Charming and Aurora. Everyone else I don’t really mind :pWelcome 😀 I like your list (although I do love Snow and Charming). Aurora totally gets on my nerves which makes me the MOST curious about her. Why have they created this character who just sort of trots along an whines…why did she say she doesn’t have any family…that almost guarantees that she does have family which makes me very curious as to where she fits in with this story.

I really don’t get why people think Bae ended up in Neverland. Bae went to a land without magic (as I recall), but Neverland has magic, right? Or have I missed something?
I always thought of Neverland as having magic but I still think it is possible that Baelfire might have passed through other lands on his journey to the land without magic.

Chernobog is the creator of Rumpelstiltskin’s dagger and he becomes the big villian of the show, and he is mainly after Rumpelstiltskin and by association Belle. Gold has to team up with the Charming family and Regina to take down Chernobog.
Info about Chernobog:
That is an interesting theory. After watching the Chernobog clip I realize that I must have never seen all of Fantasia. I thought I had but I think I must have just seen parts of it. I’ll have to watch it.

Blue Fairy doesn’t make a habit of lying- she was forced into it by Gepetto and was very uncomfortable with the idea. Why would she lie about a land without magic anyway? What benefit could she possibly get from lying about that?
I don’t think Bae’s personality fits Peter either…Peter is a cocky show off. He battles Hook just for the thrill of it! He has no desire to grow up. He is selfish. I can’t imagine Bae taking on that persona.
I think that it is difficult for all of us to see Baelfire taking on a cocky show off persona but maybe that is exactly where the writers want us to be with his character. With most of the characters we didn’t get their backstory until a while after they were introduced…I’m thinking of the Evil Queen and Rumple especially. But after seeing their backstory…Regina as sweet and loving…Rumple as scared and humble…it helped explain how they became the way they were. Baelfire is different in that we got his backstory right when we were first introduced to his character. What we are missing is how his backstory affected who he became. I don’t think he will have become evil, like Regina and Rumple did…but I think he will have very much changed.

Wow, that’s neat. I didn’t know such a wall existed in New York. Cool speculation. 😀
I stumbled upon it accidentally…when doing a search for a poem. Emma’s wish matches up with the Disney song, “When you wish upon a star”, and if Neal made a wish it would match up with the Disney song, “I’m Wishing”.

I don’t think Neal will be Peter Pan. I can’t remember where I saw it, but I heard some blond guy was to portray Peter Pan. I will look to see where it is. I just happened to be watching the episode with my 7 year old daughter who happens to be a big fan just as I am. While watching it, she sees Neal and shouts, “Mommy he looks like Aladdin!” Then it hit me. She could be right. Aladdin was a thief with a heart of Gold (like Neal), he was a slick talker (remember in the Disney movie how Aladdin pretended that Jasmine was his mentally unstable sister….like Neal pretended Emma was girlfriend unable to drive a stick?) Aladdin was an orphan, but his Father returned later (hmm….Baelfire/Rumple?). What if what August showed Neal was in fact a Magic Lamp? Could the Tallahassee thing be their ‘whole new world’? Just a thought…..that came from the mind of a 7 year old girl!
That is so clever of her! She is right. There are a lot of similarities. 😀

How the heck did you even catch that?!?!?!?!?!?!? MAJOR PROPS!
Well…you know how you never forget your first crush…well my first crush looked a lot like Baelfire. When I saw the poster on the wall I thought, that boy looks a lot like Richard…and then it hit me…BAELFIRE!!! I’ll have to see if I can find an old picture of Richard Z and scan it in. 😀

We had Emma as the sheriff before she was pulled through the vortex…my guess is that Neal is the opposite..he’s a con man….a hustler. It should make for an interesting reunion.
