ONCE - Once Upon a Time podcast
Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
I actually like the shape shifting. I guess that is because I am an X-Men fan and watching Mystique shape shift was always neat and exciting because you never knew what side she was on.
I also hope they don’t abuse Cora’s shape shifting ability but as we saw it gives Snow the chance to whip out her sward and be all “This person isn’t who they say they are.” It is one of those thriller moments in a way.
I actually have a cousin who is an uncle and he is the same age if his nephew.
I vote for Red and Granny as back-up with her bow and arrows!
I like Snow’s hair mid-length like in this episode pre-curse. I think it suits her for the FTL aka Enchanted Forest. I am curious what she would look like in StoryBrooke with the longer hair just because it would be unusual or out of place for us.
But I think princess wise longer suits her.
I sure didn’t like how the ashes started to glow when placed in the bottle. I hope the portal doesn’t work for Cora. If it doesn’t she will blame Snow, but Snow has no magic. My guess is that Emma has to get a portal to work.
Ok I loved seeing Emma realize that people do care about her. “I’m just not used to people putting me first.” Such a sweet mother daughter moment.
Also when Snow whipped out the sward when she realized Lancelot was Cora. “There is only one person you told Henry’s name to.” I just love our tough Snow!
I worry that the spell book is still in Ragina’s house. If Cora gets to StoryBrooke there will be a all out magic war!
I too am not quite sure what to think of her. I felt she was a bit stuck up…maybe even a bit of a brat. I can agree she was lost…you fall asleep and 28 years later your home is gone, evil is lurking around and a warrior comes to get you with your prince and the warrior is a woman…ya, I’d say she’s lost.
I also want to know what she sacrificed. Maybe that will explain her character better.
I like the idea of Ragina adding the boundary curse to StoryBrooke.
As for Cora placing the curse on Ragina not letting her leave without King Leopold I think 4 things: 1. Maybe it was only until the wedding, 2. His death 3. Ragina pushed Cora through the looking glass so maybe the curse broke, 4. Ragina became somewhat attached to Snow, even though she blames her for Daniel’s death.
Ya, she said several times that she didn’t want to use magic and she didn’t want to be like her mother and yet here she is becoming just like her.
