faux paxParticipant
It’s one of those questions you really can’t answer. I agree she really hasn’t had any time to think things through, and I do agree that there are some parallels between what they did to her and what she did to Henry, but at the same time i think she handled it better than I expected. I mean what was the first thing she did when Henry showed up? Hide in the bathroom. At least now she faced it head on and i’m impressed.
[adrotate group="5"]faux paxParticipantThe connection between him being a fireman and Baelfire always seemed flimsy to me. I mean I think Bae wouldn’t go by his full name…not in this world. He has enough isolating him without throwing in something as obvious as a medieval name. I think he shortened it to just Bae or changed it completely, so Emma might not have even heard the rest of it.
faux paxParticipantYou’re right. Philip was supposed to be Aurora’s true love, but the moment she finds out he has been hanging out with another girl she gets snippy. It’s almost like she didn’t trust him or something.
faux paxParticipantI’m not quite ready to have Rumple and Regina retire from being the baddies just yet, but I agree that once they start being softened by those they care about (and I think this will take longer for Rumple even though he will have both Belle and Bae) then they will have to be replaced as big baddies. But I doubt it would be Hook, as interesting as having a big bad who can’t do magic be. I hope i’m not the only one who hasn’t forgotten that ALL the worlds were cursed, so they have plenty to chose from, the queen of hearts, the witches from Oz and maybe even the white witch from Narnia…the list goes on.
Also, i do think it would be cool to see a Charmings/Regina/Rumple allance, and the best way I see that happening is through Henry, if Bae is in fact his father. That would put him under the protection of all three grupes and if something happened to him…Think of all the family that would come to the rescue. It hasn’t even happened yet and i’m allready feeling sorry for who ever it was. 😆
faux paxParticipantAuntBee, great ceatch with the Tartan. Never would have thought of that. (There is so many clues here I think my brain is going to explode until they tell us 😛 )
he was ever a bad boy type, imo. I definitely think he’s bitter, cynical, and angry, how could you not be, but I guess instead of him leashing that out on the world, to me it seems like he kept it all bottled up on the inside
Perhaps i didn’t word my post exactly like i ment. I was saying that I do like the idea of him having issues, now that it looks like they’re not going to make him a criminal, you know, the kind that obviously has issues. I think a part of me would feel really, really cheated if he was still EXACTLY like the boy he was when he went through the portal.
Bae wasn’t necessarily a criminal or criminal type that saved his own skin rather than going to jail with Emma or running away with her or was a married guy that ended it when his wife found out, but maybe he was simply a guy got scared because he knew no one would ever believe what happened to him and broke it off by making up something like he was married.
Or maybe Emma is just seeing what happened through the eyes of a hurt child, which can make things seem that much more worse. I kind of have a theory that whatever happened had to do with magic (I mean, he obviously knows about Storybrook) and that’s why he couldn’t tell her. Of course she’s going to be mad and think he’s “not a hero” if she only got one side of the story (not that she would necessarily have listened).
faux paxParticipantWe’ll get used to it. Besides, if they use them interchangeably, then so can’t we. I don’t know about you but i wasn’t looking forward to having to write Snow/MM every time I got on the Forum. 😆
faux paxParticipantWell think about it this way, they have the memories of both lifetimes so Snow has spent just as much time being MM as she had being Snow. Charming on the other hand was asleep for all but a few months so he’s a lot less of David then Charming. Charming will always think of his wife as Snow, but Snow is just as comfortable thinking in Storybrook terms then FTL. Charming referred to her as MM because he was talking to Henry, who only really knew her as MM outside of the pages of his book. (if any of that made any sense).
faux paxParticipantI kind of like that this one was a bit more low key. We have some really good looking episodes coming up, but I would hate to watch them and have everyone mad because they didn’t live up to the premier. As much fun as it would be to have each epp be better than the last, i don’t think my mind could take the explosion of feels.
faux paxParticipantParhaps that would also explain why BF was so picky about who she helped (something I wish the show would address). I mean Bae heard about her from his Ex-child-soldier friend. If the magic was free, you’d think BF would have helped all the kids, but I guess she thought that getting the dark one out of FTL was worth whatever it cost her to send Bae away.
faux paxParticipantI like her as a character but i don’t like the whole her/aurora/phillip thing. Their just seems to be so many layers to both women and having them look like they want to get into a cat fight just cheapens that.
