FelieParticipant
If Ingrid takes the potion, she can’t create the snowstorm, so he wouldn’t let her do that.
What snow storm??? I meant in the flashback. Why, when Ingrid and her sister went to him for help did he not give her the potion that would take her powers away for good?
Instead he gave her some gloves and an urn, when he could have prevented the tragedy from happening to the sisters, had he given her the potion instead. I’d be mad as all heck if I were Ingrid and found out about its existence, and that Rumple had it all along, but didn’t give it to her in the EF.

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantI just want to know why he offered Ingrid the gloves and urn instead of the potion it looks like he’ll give Emma in next week’s episode.
Did he need this to happen to Arendelle’s royal family? What was his angle? Why turn her into the icy equivalent of Rogue by giving her those gloves, when he could have just taken her powers for good?
I hope Ingrid does’t find out about the potion, because, if I were in her shoes, the blame would quickly shift from her sister to Rumple, knowing he could have prevented the entire tragedy and enabled the three sisters to live a normal life.

“Well from what I just heard, I believe you’d call me a monster,” – Ingrid (3×03 Rocky Road)
I think it’s safe to say Ingrid was fully conscious while trapped in the urn, which maybe why she’s a bit looney now. She spent every bit of 25 years trapped in an small urn…..aka Magical Nut House.
Ah! Thanks for the quote 😀
Yep, guess that settles it then, she was stewing in solitary confinement for all those years! What a nightmare… 25 years!? That’s a long time to be alone with your thoughts, especially when you have a ton of guilt on your shoulders. Poor Ingrid, she didn’t mean to hurt her sister 🙁

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantI think this probably has more to do with someone (Ingrid?) taking her memories as opposed to anything urn-related.
As to your overall OP: Possibly. Rumple seems to remember/know what it was like inside Pandora’s box.
I didn’t think of that. Yeah, I suppose she could just be neglecting to mention her memories of being imprisoned (if she has any), as only her missing memories of her time before being imprisoned are important when it comes to finding out what happened to Anna.
I re-watched the ep, and I’m now convinced that she was mulling over her sister’s betrayal whilst imprisoned. She really does seem to have gone a bit mad, and that wouldn’t have happened during the split second it took for Gerda to open the urn and trap her inside. If she hadn’t been conscious inside the urn she still would have been in terrible pain upon her release – grieving over Helga’s death and Gerda’s (somewhat understandable, imo) reaction.

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantAnna did trick him out of the hat all those years ago, and Ingrid isn’t too fond of her, so he could need something from her. Let’s face it, Anna is alive somewhere in SB, and all this time we assumed that Ingrid has her, but what if Rumple has her? He had her necklace after all, so he must have caught up with her sometime after her return to Arendelle. Perhaps she burned him twice, which would make him take great pleasure in sacrificing her.

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantI like how the DQ is all
“Oh no!!! Looks like you got me!!!1!1!!”"so there’s this new show….."
"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantWe got an actress to play Cruella De Ville . I am sure we see Helga as a child and adult in the next episode. I know form the promo stills we see a dark haired woman standing behind Young Snow Queen as she appears to talk to rumple but whether that is Helga or Gerda, I am not sure.
I’m so confuzzled? But I guess we’ll find out for sure on Sunday (Monday for me).
I’m ready to find out, that’s for sure

Yep! Emma/Elsa shippers are gonna love this scene.

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantI thought the DQ’s story would be exactly this scenario too, sort of lika a ‘this is what could have been Elsa’s fate’ type of thing, but haven’t we had confirmation that an actress has been cast to play adult Helga?

"there’s lesbians in it"FelieParticipantBesides which, Morgana comes from Arthurian Legend and that’s British lore. If you’re going to cast an actress to play someone British, mine as well cast a British actress. American actors are not known for doing good British accents, but it’s oddly easier for British actors to do American. Not sure why.
I give you my perfect candidate to play Morgana: Rachel Weisz
