Pretty sure Snow’s blue birds have been mentioned before – they delivered the message to Rumple that Cinderella wanted to make a new deal (could be just an actual letter but now maybe not) and they gathered intel on the curse for the first episode’s war council. Do think maybe a line from Emma like “so….you talk to birds now?” could have helped but it didn’t shock me completely that she understood the crow..

In addition to Snow’s connection with birds, in the pilot Prince Charming mentioned that the animals of the forest were abuzz with news about the dark curse. It seems like talking animals might be more common in the EF than we perhaps realized. Jiminy Cricket could communicate with people. Now, it seems like Billy/Gus the mouse might have been able to communicate with Cinderella in the EF.
Also, when Charming wrote to Snow in 7:15am (I think it was that episode), he sent a bird, despite the fact that he had no idea where she was. A normal messenger bird can only go between two places as far as I know, so it must have been a “magical” bird – one that knew who to get the message to, and would keep looking for her.

He’ll have nothing else to do. So hopefully he’ll find a way into the Wraith Room from where he is 🙂
frumpybutsupersmartParticipantRegina said that Cora was taught by Rumpel. Maybe she was the first one he tried to manipulate in order to cast the Dark Curse, but since she’s pretty cunning and entirely self-interested, she was more resistant to his trying to mould her into his puppet and turned on him, once she’d learned as much as she could from him. Then when she had a kid, he decided to use her to cast the curse instead. Regina was more innocent and manipulable than Cora, especially because she’d just lost Daniel and Rumpel knew how to take advantage of her broken heart.
frumpybutsupersmartParticipantI don’t think Charming was overly worried about who Henry would be left with if he didn’t wake up – he has a lot of good friends who wouldn’t let anything bad happen to Henry. The dwarves, Ruby and Granny, Jiminy and Geppetto, and all the rest. And he really did think he’d wake up, since he has so much faith in Snow.
frumpybutsupersmartParticipantI think number 2 might lead to Camelot …
frumpybutsupersmartParticipantMaybe she just didn’t want anyone reading the book to sympathise with Rumpel, like most of the audience did when they learned about his past. Seems like something she’d want, seeing as she’s his enemy.
frumpybutsupersmartParticipantNo, it didn’t, but it was the pilot, so maybe it was supposed to be the same wolf …

If Bae’s bean took him to Europe, that’s probably where the curse would have taken them, too.
sure but how would the enchanted wardrobe know to take Emma and Pinocchio to US?
That is the question … maybe Maine is magical?
frumpybutsupersmartParticipant^ Therapist!Belle! I am so on board with that.
frumpybutsupersmartParticipantI think she kept the car for entirely emotional reasons – she kept the swan keyring too, she put it on a chain and we almost never see her without it. It’s something that connects her to a happier time in her life, before she got so emotionally traumatised and started shutting people out. Whatever she feels for Neal, I doubt it’s true hatred.
