I think it makes sense for Gideon to not be there. He got a second chance, and he put his life together. Now he’s — I don’t remember, something requiring a respectable education — and he probably has people who depend on him, at least through his job and maybe in his personal life. He and they deserve better than for him to drop everything and travel to deal with yet more fallout from his family member’s addiction problem.

All the team needs to do is make it happen exactly as Jiya saw it — no more, no less — just like history recorded the destruction of Gallifrey.
–LOVE Flynn and Lucy’s new friendship. I don’t really romantically ship it, but I’ll BFF-ship it.
I think the original plan for those characters must’ve been something else, like Mom Lucy and Dad Wyatt sending their son back in time for his protection, but the actor-chemistry between these two keeps their screentime together interesting regardless.
Overall, though, I’m really missing last season’s evolving 3-way dynamic between the white hats, the anarchists, and the shadowy conspirators. I think we’re all expecting Lucy’s mom to break with Rittenhouse at some point, but with two episodes left there’s no time for that to be an ongoing plot. She’ll probably just be the person to press the series-reset button that Lucy wished for in 2×07.

Facilier: apparently now he is dead, and we have no idea why he wanted the dagger (was he just looking for power?) Why did he steal Rumple and Belle’s family album?
I wonder if Facilier was Wish Realm Rumpel in disguise this whole time. It would explain Facilier’s interest in the dagger and the photo album, and it’d make his relationship with Regina than much, um, something-er.
