GaultheriaParticipant
Ruby’s back! Why is she in the Underworld?
If it’s still the case that Ruby stays in control of herself while in wolf form, then the enemy from Emma’s dream is still out there and still a danger. Maybe Ruby is hunting it.

He obviously knew Rumple would defeat Gaston, so then why offer Belle the choice to void the deal for her baby? This just didn’t make sense to me. I get he wants things to continue to decay, but was he really that confident that it would be Belle that tossed Gaston into the river and not Rumple?
If Belle had sacrificed her innocence in that regard, by agreeing to Gaston’s eternal torment, it might have been enough to power Hades’ spell.

GaultheriaParticipantAnything you can call objective evil can be argued (apart from rape which is, IMO, the only true objective evil).
Cultures all over the world and all through time might all agree that rape is wrong, without being able to agree on what rape is, so I don’t think even this is something that counts as objective evil.

It’s not even the right colour for Disney Hades. Blue is the default; dramatic emotional moments get red/orange/yellow.

It seemed much more introspective (that’s good!) than usual.

GaultheriaParticipantBravo to Rumpel for manning up! I think his talk with Belle was a huge step forward for his character development.

GaultheriaParticipantIs someone writing through Henry, or over taking him during these writing spells?
In the same episode that the devil became OUAT canon?
Put down the pen, Henry.

GaultheriaParticipantIn the movie, Hades is obsessed with changing fate. Looks like he’s taking a literal approach here.
…because three women in the underworld = new set of fates. “Break with fate” is a theme of OUAT, and Hades does not like the original trio.
I want to hear them argue about which is the mother, the maiden, and the crone.

GaultheriaParticipantThe way I am understanding this, is that Emma can allow someone to take her heart, or she herself can take it. No one can take it without her permission.
I think it would be pretty realistic for a subconscious survival instinct to act up and shout “No!” even though Emma has been proclaiming noble self-sacrifice. I don’t think that’s the in-show reason, but still…
We haven’t seen a cost for Snow’s reverse-horcrux, but Mal was certain that people whose lives depend on magic can’t live in the “real” world. I don’t think Emma could give up the real world.

GaultheriaParticipantAm I the only one who felt like the whole “Rumple denied Milah the right to more children” was some straw man culpability they’re shoving onto him? It would have worked better if you got even the slightest indication she wants more kids
I get the impression that Milah wants to hurt Rumpel, and that she knows that anything to do with family is an effective way to twist the dagger. She has some real, positive feelings, but a lot of what we see is an act that she puts on so that she can feel strong in the relationship.
I don’t know if we’ve ever seen the real reason for why she resents him. Maybe she was in love with the idea of marriage and then found out too late that Rumpel didn’t make her feel the way she thought he would.
