GaultheriaParticipant
Were beignets an important thing in The Princess and the Frog? The way they keep saying it again and again and again and again, it’s as if it’s supposed to be fan service. It’s worse than Belle repeating “beast” ad infinitum — which, as a common word where I live, at least never burrowed into my mind solely as an overused catchphrase.
I’ve never had a — oh, I’m going to have to call them “Louisiana doughnuts” — and I’m not sure I could bring myself to try one now, because I’m really starting to hate that word.

GaultheriaParticipantI wonder if the scene will take place in adult Henry’s mind, with Jared playing the part of Henry’s subconscious, the youthful idealism and optimism that adult Henry has forgotten. Accepting that side of himself could be the last step toward breaking the curse — or rather, having already broken the curse, recovering from it.
On the other hand, Henry has an inferiority complex (as seen in 7×16 “Breadcrumbs”) concerning his childhood role models that leads him to make bad decisions. He needs to have a conversation about that with his younger self.

GaultheriaParticipantThe closeup on her ring shows that this version of Jessica is married, but her expression says that Wyatt is her ex.

GaultheriaParticipantPeople have been wondering about the red jacket since JMo seemed to only be shooting in the fancy ball gown.
Passing the torch at story’s end? It’s a great gift for a granddaughter who’s just had an active role in an adventure of her own.

GaultheriaParticipantIt was possible for both Facillier and Ivy to get the magic they needed from Anastasia without Ivy endangering her sister’s life. All either had to do was ask. There was no need for Facillier to trick Ivy to get the magic for himself/Regina, and Ivy is intelligent enough and knows enough about magic to figure about that asking would have been sufficient.
Facilier’s plan depended on following the cards exactly. That’s why the Doctor on that other show avoids spoilers, because they limit his options.

GaultheriaParticipantI hope he is actually the guardian and wants to free Rumple from the dark one curse.
If we trace back through his family tree, do we find Merlin and Nimue? That kind of symmetry would practically beg for Facilier to be the person who ends the Dark One curse.

GaultheriaParticipantThe etymology of “Hansel” and “Jack” is interesting.

GaultheriaParticipantI wonder how long Alice’s power has been operating. When she was little, she must’ve wished for a responsible parent who would never abandon her — and that’s what Hook turned into.

GaultheriaParticipantBit of a Fawlty Towers “Don’t mention the war!” situation, potentially. I think “twist” is the only option.

GaultheriaParticipantAlice’s father is made of wish power. Maybe that’s an important part of Gothel’s plan.
