I’ve found a way to cope with the show’s repetitive dialogue: whenever a character says “wicked” now, I mentally replace it with “annoying”. I think it’s an improvement:

Zelena: What does the West represent?

Glinda: The most elusive of elements: Innocence.

Zelena: Well, then, I’m the last person that you should consider. I mean, look at me. I’m annoying.

Maybe we could all build up a thesaurus as a summer project.

The slippers look silver in some of the far shots, while in closeup they seem to be reflecting the gold light from the wizard’s audience chamber. But I doubt they took Dorothy home; if I was an aspiring evil overlord, I wouldn’t throw away my perfect escape vehicle when there are easier ways to make a rival go away.

Anyone else think there are two Rumpels now because he duplicated the dagger? I think that even people who cheer for good Rumpel enjoy Carlyle’s performance as a villain, so this could be a have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too situation.
