Considering one of Mr. Carlyle’s other big roles, I think this metaphor could be literal.

GaultheriaParticipantwhat if someone did a ONCE version of Duck Tales with Gold. Henry….Add Roland in since everyone seems to and then …we just need a third kid.

GaultheriaParticipantI wonder if George might be gay. He’s overflowing with resentment about something, and it always seems like an open wound on his soul. Even the death of loved ones, though terrible, is something that people recover from with time. George has talked about a wife, but that could have been a half-truth spoken by someone who thinks he needs to conceal the politically-sensitive details.
I used to think James and David really were George’s sons, from a secret affair Prince George had with a peasant girl. I still like that idea. Maybe I can mash the two ideas together: George made a deal for Rumpel to turn him straight for just long enough to do his duty and produce an heir. Then, when he changed back, he avoided Ruth because he didn’t want to be reminded of the experience, and Rumpel wasn’t about to give away the news that there had been twins.

GaultheriaParticipantHenry Mauls fakes his own death, framing his antisocial daughter Rurigena for murder. Ruri develops compassion for the downtrodden while serving her sentence in a fairy labour camp, and she forgives her father for acting out of chronic depression. Overwhelmed by a need to ease the suffering of those around her, she devises a plan to steal the fairies’ magic lentils and transport her community to a land of universal healthcare, but her space-time calculations are a bit off, and they arrive in the land of wonder three decades too early.

GaultheriaParticipantI really want to see The Bright One Rumplestiltskin, it’d be a laugh. He’d be so friendly and happy.
Every now and then he’d burst into tears for a few seconds, and then he’d go right back to being his usual encouraging self.

November 18, 2013 at 3:00 pm in reply to: What should happen to Regina in the end of Once Upon a Time? #224805GaultheriaParticipantThere’s no shortcut after murder. Regina needs to pay for her crimes. She can still experience something like a positive ending, though, through character maturation in the midst of tragedy. Moira Queen (“Arrow”) is a good model of what I mean.

GaultheriaParticipantSo, the flowers that grow at the top of a tree contain pixie dust, and the flowers are powered by starlight.
Hmm… Neverland’s recent history of neverending night means supercharged pixie dust. Looks like someone has been planning a BIG spell to use all that magic.

GaultheriaParticipantI have more sympathy for Rumpel’s fierce overprotectiveness of young Bae now.
Prediction for upcoming plot developments: Pan’s shadow has been running its own con game on Malcolm, and the white hats will have to save Pan to save Rumpel to save Henry and David.

“Ariel” is an angel’s name, after all.

GaultheriaParticipantAs far as Moe and Belle, I recognize that it’s a TV show so they don’t have an unlimited amount of time to use on each and every character and plot line, however I did find it bizarre that Moe said he was all concerned about finding his daughter but when he does find her he spends no time at all rejoicing over finding her or talking to her, all he wants to do is make sure she stays away from Rumple. And when he can’t control her the way he wants to his solution is to have her loose all of her memories – even her memories of him??? Doesn’t really seem like he was actually wanting to find his daughter with the intent of being reunited so he could have a relationship with her. Sounds more like he wanted to find her because he had already figured out that she had fallen in love with Rumple and wanted to get revenge by taking her away from him.
As Moe sees it, Belle is choosing to be a gangster’s girl. Moe will always hate the gangster for this, and a part of Moe wants to hate Belle (even though he loves her) for her decision, so that taints his attempts to help her out of that lifestyle.
