ParticipantYes, I think the BF is behind everytihng.
I think she’s basically good as opposed to evil and her motives/intentions are good, but, has her own plan and is the master manipulator.
She seems like she can anticipate ppl’s actions/reactions and ‘guides’ them without them realizing she’s guiding them to do exactly what she wants them to do.[adrotate group="5"]gypsy
ParticipantBecause even stories that have been around for centuries become new again, each everytime that story is told from the beginning.
And there is always some one who is hearing that story for the first time.gypsy
ParticipantIn the Disney film, when Jiminy opens the book to tell the story of Pinocchio, there are two other books visible on the shelf.
One is Peter Pan and the other is Alice in Wonderland.
So, there’s is a connection between the 3 stories – Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland. We know August knows Neal/Bae and, if suspicions are correct, Peter Pan.
We know there is some connection between Neal/Bea and Alice in Wonderland – we have the Cleaner’s and Hatter’s sign and the monacles in his apartment and there’s an Alice In Wonderland statue in Central Park. So, I believe Neal/Bae knows Jefferson. I believe they met in Neverland at some point before the curse. Being that Bae (PP) was probably jumping between our world and Neverland for centuries, at this point, he already had his our world alias (Neal Cassady) and told Jefferson what his name was. Jefferson knows everything about Bae and probably Rumple and what happened between them – could be part of the falling out Rumple and Jefferson had and partly why Jefferson stopped his ‘work’ with Rumple (along with whatever happened to Grace’s mother).
So, let’s just say – Pinocchio knows Peter Pan, The Mad Hatter knows Peter Pan and I think The Mad Hatter and Pinocchio know each other, also.
I think August made at least one other trip to Storybrooke, prior to when we see him arrive in True North.
I think it was before he ran into Neal/Bae.
During that trip, August meets up with Jefferson. Jefferson tells him about Neal/Bae. August goes in search of him and finds Emma.
When August returns to Storybrooke, 10 yrs later, he reconnects with Jefferson. Jefferson tells him about the book, because Jefferson wrote it (which is another theory, entirely). They work together, August adds his story – at Jefferson’s house – he’s clearly not at his room at Granny’s when he does this.
Jefferson is the one that tells August about the dagger.
Jefferson is the one August is talking to on the phone when he says they have to excelerate the plan.
August and Jefferson are the only 2 ppl in SB that are shown actively trying to convince Emma to believe.
There are also deleted scenes showing August at Jefferson’s house.gypsy

I went and looked up some of the backstory on J.M. Barrie. Apparently, he based Peter Pan on his older brother …
… “who died in an ice-skating accident the day before he turned 14, and thus always stayed a young boy in his mother’s mind” …That is interesting.
It’s part of TheGoldenKey’s “Bae is Henry’s father and Peter Pan” theory that she posted on here a while back.
I think that is what inspired the whole theory in the first place 🙂
It’s really cool finding a connection and being like “Wow! That’s neat!” 🙂@ Rapunzel_is_a_Ginger –
I always thought Jefferson was the White Rabbit.
He is the realm jumper – leading ppl down the rabbit hole – and that was what the White Rabbit did.
Plus, when Regina wanted to contact Jefferson, she left a calling card on Grace’s bike at the school – it was a White Rabbit Tarot card.
I do think Neal/Bae and Jefferson have met at some point – Neverland, maybe, and they know each other.gypsy
ParticipantSaw this on another fansite and thought it was an interesting point.
“Sandy” posted this:
If the Huntsman was raised by Children of the Moon/werewolves it would explain why he could read and speak English.
Perhaps he was raised in a pack but since he wasn’t an actual werewolf he had to leave and venture out as a “lone wolf” as soon as he was able to survive on his own and take care of himself.

ParticipantThe stories they know are ‘our’ version – fake memories – of the stories.
In 2×02, Henry asks David if he knows the Mad Hatter and David says, “No. I mean the Prince ‘me’ doesn’t know him, but David has memories of reading Alice in Wondeland in school…..who is he, here?”

ParticipantThe fact that the writers have said that ‘HER’ is not important makes me think it’s just a nod to the whole Disney/Star Wars thing.
Ben Bertt of Lucasfilms did all the sound effects for the Star Wars movies and was the voice of R2D2.
He also did the sounds effects for the 1978 remake of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”The original 1958 version was considered a “…metaphoric testament to scientific progress…” – specifically, Gregor Mendell’s ‘Pea Pod’ Experiments – hence the term in the movie ‘Pod People’.
Anyway, at the end of the 1978 version, the last ‘human’ mistakenly thinks she’s found the only other human left…she runs over to him…he turns around, uses his an extremely high pitched scream that the Aliens use to identify a human and points directly at ‘HER’.
Just a fun thought/connection 🙂

ParticipantI never saw Pan’s Labrynth, but yeah, I agree the Thin Man is way creepier than the seer!

ParticipantIf Bae was in Neverland and is Peter Pan (which I think he is) – he wouldn’t need a bean or a portal.
Peter Pan was just able to travel between Neverland and our world. -
