ParticipantAs far as time being parallel and us knowing the stories –
As Stephen King once put it : Stories are ageless, timeless.
Every night a mom or a dad opens a story book and reads a story to their child…for the first time, or for the 100th time….each time that book is opened, the story inside starts over from the beginning.[adrotate group="5"]gypsy
ParticipantI agree. I don’t think they are alluding to Oz as far Neal/Bae is concerned.
There are way too many Peter Pan clues connected to the name Neal Cassady an to NY, itself.gypsy
ParticipantI think Blue flat out lied.
She lied about the wardrobe because it suited her needs at the time.
I think she knew Rumple would never go with Bae.
I think she wanted Bae out of the way.
She wanted Rumple to remain the Dark One, hone his skills and have a reason to be so passionately p*ssed (losing Bae/guilt) that he would create the Dark Curse.
Blue wanted that curse to be created, enacted and ultimately, broken.
What her reason is, I’m not sure at this point, but, I’m sure she’s got one.February 18, 2013 at 6:02 am in reply to: Bae as Henry’s father is unacceptable – show is dead to me #173961gypsy
ParticipantPart of the brilliance of the story is seeing how everyone is connected in one way or another….just like on LOST.
Nothing was random on that show, either, and these are the same writers 🙂Didn’t you ever hear of “6 degress of seperation”? Not the movie, the theory 🙂

ParticipantBae is too important to be just a Lost Boy….he’s Peter Pan – the leader of the Lost Boys 🙂

ParticipantTheGoldenKey –
You were right all along! Glad I could be of some help 🙂 I've loved your theory since you first mentioned it to me last year 🙂 Good job!

ParticipantMysteryKat –
I just think that if Snow was already pregnant, wouldn’t that make the poisoned drink that King George gave her to prevent her from getting pregnant null and void, and thus making Ruth’s death in vein?

ParticipantMysteryKat –
I don’t think it was alluded to in 2×03 that Snow was already pregnant.
In fact, I think it alluded to the oppsite.
Ruth said the pendant could predict the sex of an unborn baby….it would swing N/S for a boy and E/W for a girl.
When she held the pendant up it didn’t swing, denoting that Snow was not pregnant.
We use that tradition in my family all the time – with a needle and thread – when it doesn’t doesn’t move, there is no baby.gypsy
ParticipantI only used ‘9 months’ for lack of more concrete info….just as a guide.
Judging by the fact that Snow didn’t look pergnant at all at the wedding and she was giving birth – with minutes to spare – when the curse hit FTL 🙂
Had to be in the ballpark of 9 months.gypsy
ParticipantWell, the flashbacks are shown out of order.
If you notice, EQ threatens Snow and Charming on their wedding day, but by the time she enacts the Dark Curse, Snow is ready to give birth, so at least 9 months passes between the time EQ threatens them and when she actually goes through with it.
Rumple was imprisoned sometime in between when EQ threatens SW/Charming at the wedding and when EQ goes to vistit him about why the Dark Curse didn’t work.
Rumple being imprisoned happened when Cinderella was visibly pregnant.
Her and Snow seemed to be pregnant around the same time, considering that Snow gave birth right before the curse hit, and Cinderella was still pregnant in SB (technically, she was pregnant for 28 yrs) but then gave birth shortly after Emma arrived in SB and things started to change. -
