I do think I probably wouldn’t be watching the show if it wasn’t for them though. What man can resist Regina’s cleavage or Ruby’s hot pants? 😉[adrotate group="5"]In some ways I love the new season and in some ways I don’t like it at all.
I agree with the others who have posted, as long as new characters are somehow tied in to already established character’s stories, then that works rather well, just like Hook or Frankenstein. I mean just imagine how odd it would’ve been to see Dr Whale in a castle in the b&w world all of a sudden.
But with Aurora and Mulan and whatever the name was of the prince, I didn’t find them interesting.
I love the Regina episodes so far, but I don’t like that she’s not even present in two and just had one line in another. Then again, I’m sure those who has others as favorites don’t like the Regina episodes.
Season one felt like they had a little bit of everyone, kinda like Lost in the beginning of it, but now season two feels more like some episodes will solely focus on certain characters.
I guess if I ever do a rewatch I know which ones to skip then 😆@Phee wrote:

Yes that’s true. Then again since so many think Neal is Bae, they might be deliberately misleading us, and Neal will someone completely different.

I forgot, I also don’t like Belle :p But I agree, Aurora whines a lot. I like badass women, and Aurora and Belle aren’t that badass 😛
I suppose we will find out more about Aurora’s past in the future. And I hope we do cause that might mean we get some more Maleficent 😀
